The Elephante is one of many Neopets available in Neopia. It is based on the elephants of the real world, though usually lacking tusks and possessing a pair of small wings on their backs.

While enormous in size, the Elephante is surprisingly quick and nimble. Its docile nature enable it to get along with anyone easily, however its calm exterior belie a potent attack, its trunk, which is capable of firing very accurately any item in a missile-like fashion. Its small wings are also very powerful as it is capable of lifting the Elephante off the ground. The Elephante however is limited to hovering.

Colours
As of January 2009, Elephantes come in 39 different colours:
Mr. Krawley is a Blue Krawk usually dressed in a suit, and identified by his bright yellow eyes. He is a creator of powerful magical potions, which are not only capable of affecting the physical body but the reality around a person as well. He also has very powerful magic, able to animate non-living objects such as stone and trees. He is also capable of posing as different Neopets, such as a pink Elephante gypsy and Dr. Edward Alexander, whether by using transformation potions or magic. He was the mastermind behind the events of The Tale of Woe plot, and the overall main antagonist.

Plot summary
The Tale of Woe
:Main Article: The Tale of Woe

Mr. Krawley appeared in Neovia (unnamed at the time) before Bruno, offering him a potion to give him what he desired. Soon after, everyone in Neovia was taking his miracle elixir. It was soon revealed the potions were cursed rather than a blessing, and the inhabitants of the city were turned into monstrous forms of their own desires, and sought revenge for what Mr. Krawley did to them. He disappered before this could happen, however, and they moved their anger to Bruno and his family instead for causing the problem to spread in the first place.

After Neovia's inhabitants went under a different curse from The Spirit of Slumber, Mr. Krawley appeared to the suffering staff of Meepit Oaks in the guise of Dr. Edward Alexander. Giving the inmates a potion which seemed to calm them, he left a flower in Nurse Lucy's care before leaving the upcoming chaos as he had done before.

10 years later, Gilly arrived at a gypsy camp where Mr. Krawley (disguised as a Pink Elephante) told her The Tale of Woe and the fate of Neovia. Weeks later on Halloween when the cursed Neovia was about to attack Bruno and Gilly, Mr. Krawley was spotted and Gilly gave him chase to Meepit Oaks, where she discovered the flower left to Lucy (who had died by the time Gilly had found her), the final ingredient to cure Neovia. When the village was cured, Gilly spotted him watching as Sophie said her goodbyes to her family and magically disappeared, leaving purple smoke behind.

Trivia
*Mr. Krawley remained unnamed in The Tale of Woe until Chapter 11, but his name could be found in the Neopets TCG card of the Haunted Woods Expansion Set months before the plot was actually released.
*The character Mr. Krawley is believed to be influenced by Mr. Dark of the book/movie Something Wicked This Way Comes. The name Mr. Krawley can also be related to Aleister Crowley, due to Aleister's occult nature and the name relation they share (Alexander Krawley ≈ Aleister Crowley)

The Meepit Oaks Sanitorium for the Psychologically Fragile is an asylum near Neovia in the Haunted Woods. It now lies in ruins, after it was abandoned many years ago by its small number of staff after a revolt by escaped prisoners, believed to be orchestrated by Mr. Krawley, the main antagonist of the The Tale of Woe plot.

Plot summary
The Tale of Woe
Main article: The Tale of Woe

Gilly, after pursuing Mr. Krawley through numerous animated obstacles, was lead to the Sanitorium, where Krawley convinced her to enter. Inside, she found a magical flower that had survived without water or sunlight, which proved to be the key ingredient in Sophie's potion to restore Neovia's citizens.

The user had to explore Meepit Oaks and open the cell in which the asylum's Head Nurse's skeleton resided. There were several obstacles in their path, such as having to obtain several hidden keys and subdue a Zomutt that prevent passage down a corridor.

It was stalked by zombies - presumably what remains of the former inmates and workers - that may have been conjured up by Krawley.

Staff
The Sanitorium employed a large number of staff to cater for its inmates, however the majority of these - including Dr. Kirkbride, Dr. Heeler, and further nurses and orderlies - did not return from a visit to Neovia on Halloween. This left the asylum with a skeleton force of the janitor Miles and his Zomutt, the Head Nurse, and Dr. Valus.

These staff were joined by a Dr. Edward Alexander, supposedly from Neopia Central, to assist them with an elixir that subdued the residents. He was, in fact, Mr. Krawley, and left the asylum shortly after delivering the magical flower needed to restore Neovia. Soon after, the asylum inmates were liberated and Miles, Dr. Valus, and the Head Nurse died there.
Lucy is a Red Acara and is the head nurse in The Meepit Oaks Sanitorium for the Psychologically Fragile. She has pink eyes, orange hair, and wears an old-fashioned nurse's hat, with a green cross on it. She was introduced in The Tale of Woe.

The Tale of Woe
The Tale of Woe
Nurse Lucy was working in the The Meepit Oaks Sanitorium for the Psychologically Fragile, with Dr. Valus, Miles (the janitor), and his pet Zomutt. She made an attempt at the anagram puzzle in the weekly newspaper. The next day, she becomes worried because none of the other staff had returned from Neovia that day, probably because they were under Mr. Krawley's curse. 8 days later, Dr. Valus returned from a trip to Neovia, reporting that all the town inhabitants had vanished into thin air. Miles had to help keep the insane Neopets that live in Meepit Oaks under control, and several times an inmate had almost broken free. The staff sent for help, and that night Dr. Edward Alexander came, who is believed to be Mr. Krawley. He gave the inmates a potion that calmed them, and Lucy seemed to be in love with both Dr. Alexander and Dr. Valus. Dr. Alexander gave her a magic flower, which in the future would serve as the main ingredient to cure the mutated townspeople. The next morning, Dr. Valus noticed the flower nurse Lucy had and asked her were she had gotten it. She told him it was from Dr. Alexander, and that made him jealous, distracting him from his work. While feeding one of the inmates, he was not paying attention and the inmate broke free of his restraints. Dr. Alexander was nowhere to be seen. Before they could escape, the inmates got them, and Lucy was thrown into a cell. Unable to escape the cell and still holding the flower, she died of hunger and thirst.

Ten years later, Mr. Krawley led Gilly to the old Sanitorium, were she found the skeleton of Lucy, the unwilted flower Dr. alexander gave her in her torn shirt pocket. Gilly takes it and Sophie reconizes it as the final ingredient to her potion to cure the townspeople.

Users had to get all five of Lucy's journal pages from the Sanitorium and read them. They also had to get a key from Doctor Valus' shirt pocket, and distract Miles' Zomutt before reaching the cell door, which TNT claims is covered in rust, they could grab the last piece of the journal entry.

Mayor Thumburt was capable of being fought in the Battledome from November 17, 2006, to November 19 (in any of the three forms he appeared in). Users needed to visit Neovia and receive a challenge from him before they could face him in any of his forms. Fought in the Stone Dome, users across the world needed to band together to take down his large HP amount, due to the face he could not be defeated by any one Neopet. Mayor Thumburt's total HP was lowered by the amount of damage each Neopet was capable of doing to him.

Regardless of what Battledome Equipment used during a battle against him (including a full blocker such as Thick Smoke Bomb), Mayor Thumburt automatically gives a Neopet with over 800 HP of damage, even if he doesn't use any weapons. With weapons, he is capable of giving well over 1000 HP of damage with such weapons as Pirate Captains Cutlass, Ghostkerbomb, Sword Of Skardsen, an assortment of Battle Dung, and his signature weapons (Mayors Walking Cane, Mayors Top Hat, and Mayor Throwing Stars). He was capable of freezing Neopets at any time with a H4000 Helmet in his first form , and Magical Marbles of Mystery in his final two. Not only that, he had a Jade Scorchstone, Prismatic Mirror and Thyoras Tear, capable of healing or blocking all damage, rendering all a Neopet's efforts useless. He could also use Berserk and the Sponsor Ability Scorch, therefore making him one of the most powerful and most difficult opponents in Battledome history.

The 1st form of Mayor Thumburt was defeated around 9:27 PM NST November 17, 2006, just hours after his release.
*An unknown entrance quote to the battledome, "What? You think you can fight me?", is not the "After Loss" quote, and doesn't seem to fit in all the other positions.
*Mayor Thumburt is capable of transforming into stronger forms when he is angry, similar to the Incredible Hulk.
