The '''Hissi''' is a snake-like [[Neopet]] with wings, likely based on the [[Wikipedia:Mayan|Mayan]] serpent [[Wikipedia:Quetzalcoatl|Quetzalcoatl]]. It was released May 4, 2005. Hissi have acute vision and a keen sense of smell which makes them extremely good at games of hide and seek.<br />

Users had been wanting a snake Neopet for a long time, and were happy to see the Hissi created. It is generally considered to be a fairly good pet, with nice artwork for the standard colors. Since most of the Neopets are drawn "cute," there is a large group of players who celebrate every time Neopets releases a non-cuddly pet.<br />
