==Outside Neopets==

While there are programs you can use outside of Neopets, it should be noted no user is allowed to use outside coding to play the game for them, or to gain an unfair advantage. Players who do so will either be suspended for a period of time or [[Frozen]].

===Mozilla Firefox===

[[Wikipedia:Mozilla Firefox|Mozilla Firefox]] is a web broswer. It has gained popularity with it's easy to use interface, and more advanced options than other Internet browsers. Extensions, or add on programs, can be added to it to change how Firefox displays web pages. For example, some extensions can block banner ads and pop-ups placed within websites, including Neopets.

''ImproveNeo'' began as a [[Wikipedia:Greasemonkey|Greasemonkey]] script being developed by a user within the [http://www.neodaq.info/forum Neodaq Forum]. With the script, users can remove ads, have stocks recommended to them, dynamically look-up [[Shop Wizard]] prices, have the script alert them to under-priced items, and delete user's shop descriptions so as to make buying items easier.

The first version of the script, 0.1, was released to the general public on February 19th 2006. Since then, it has been updated many times, with 0.6 being the latest version.

At this point, the legality of the program is up in the air. The creator himself [[Talk:ImproveNeo|mentioned]] using the program is risky, as it could get you frozen. (and the [[TNT]] knowing about the project would get him in trouble). Until more word is brought forth on how Neopets feels about this, use of the program should be held with caution.
