The single case where [[Neopoints]] do appear in one's inventory is as the item ''Bag of Broken Neopoints''. In this state, they do not serve as a [[Wikipedia:Medium of exchange|medium of exchange]], but can be fixed by [[Donny]] - being removed from the users inventory in the process - and become actual Neopoints.

The '''Gypsy Camp''' is a place in the [[Haunted Woods]] released on October 2, 2006. It played a small part in the [[The Tale of Woe]] [[plot]]. Starting October 6, 2006, it is the only place to reach [[Neovia]] from.

Not much is known about the camp or the gypsies that live there. The [http://www.neopets.com/tcg/displayCard.phtml?edid=11&id=55 Gypsy Camp] [[Neopets TCG|TCG card]] suggests at least six gypsies to live there, although one of them is a disguised [[Krawley]], who the other gypsies supposedly never met (the sources on this contradict each other). Three notable inhabitants of the camp are the "Kau Fortune Teller", who played an important part in the [[Lost Desert Plot]], and [[Megan]] and an untransformed [[Archos]], who are the two [[Neopet]]s starring in the PSP game [[Neopets: Petpet Adventures - The Wand of Wishing]].
