'''Neopoints''' (or '''NP''') are the currency used in [[Neopia]]. Neopoints can be gained through playing [[Game]]s, buying and selling [[item]]s in [[shop]]s or shares on the [[Stock Market]], and through winning various [[Contest]]s.

Neopoints don't have 'physical' denominations, that is, they are not items like [[Dubloons]]. There have been several ways of representing Neopoints attempted in various games and random events, the most successful of these being the ''swagbag''. These are usually labelled with their various amounts (usually 10, 50, 100, 500, 750, or 5000) or occasionally a question mark signifying an unknown quantity. 

In a [[Neopian Times]] editorial, it was stated that a 1 [[NP]] coin was small and gold. The Bag Of Broken Neopoints supports this, as broken gold coins are seen spilling from the bag.

His ghost is also a boss in the [[Lost Desert]], part 3, of [[NeoQuest II]].
