Why make fun of Texas's shape? I mean, after all, we're the only state with the authority to fly our flag at the same height of the American flag...and we can leave the US anytime we want. You wouldn't want to lose a lot of your oil refineries, or NASA, now, would you? I'm just teasing on all this, of course - though it is true about the flag and seceding.
