Hehehe, one pops up every few months or so.
I'm soooo hyped about the game too. Back just as school was starting (early Feb) I went on a Spore craze and it was like all I thought about for about a week.
I have my main creatures already planned out, and plenty of designs for other creatures too.
But yeah, sooo looking forward to it!!

Yeah I'm pretty excited about it after I saw Robin Williams give a demo for it.

As a Sims 2 ADDICT, I am really, really excited about this.
Is there any set date for a release yet? Can I start my countdown to creating civilization?

With the complexity of the game, that sounds accurate. PGCs tend to be that way...

Looking at this. You are going to need one heck of a processor, tons of ram, a big hard drive and a good graphics card

Sept the game has been pegged as using an engine that will allow it to run on a lower end PC.
For about the last three years.

I can't wait for this game as well. I heard somewhere that it is going to be released at around the same time as SimCity 5 (sometime in the fall/winter of this year), which would be awesome because I'm really looking forward to SC5.

i CAN'T wait for spore. i heard about it right after the sims two came out and now i want to make some murderous carebear things with 4 legs and 6 arms that fly
