To go against the majority: I'm glad Chris lost. :O

KMCPhee should have won though.

Anyway, this season has been interesting so far. Two people from Wisconsin have been really good so far (one being the crack baby), so we may have a chance at a Wisconsin finalist. :P

The Hotness has been my favorite part so far. XD

Those two siblings whose father was an Indian singer were both really good, I thought.

You have no idea how much I agree.

They're looking for the most talented people in America. If you ask me, Kat McPhee was only average. And besides, if you're really talented, you would have the voice problems she did. Majourity of singers know they're vocal range. If you have a song planned, and you realised you can't sing it, don't, because it's just going to make you sound worse if your voice breaks. Then you won't be able to finish the song.
Trust me, I've had that happen a lot. And it's really frustrating.

And personally, I think Paula's been wasted during the auditions.

I really don't think Paula's been wasted, A) with the amount of viewers I don't Fox nor the producers would let her on set wasted and B) Check out what I said about her pain issues. It probably is due to whatever meds she's on.

And I don't like Taylor Hicks, will never like Taylor Hicks and will never enjoy his music.
I preferred McPhee over him, and I didn't even like her. Two weakest end players yet IMO.

lol...the most talented? Then something definitely went wrong with Taylor Hicks winning.

Taylor is talented. Maybe not in the dancing field, but singing wise. He can belt out a note, and get somewhat out of his range. Kat really couldn't (ie: her single. I could hear a few sour notes, and her voice cracked a little near the end) hold notes for too long.

Either way, what's done is done. She got a contract anyway.

Which is weird, because she's hit/held higher notes on "Somewhere over the rainbow". o.o Were you only listening to the live version, or the studio version? I personally think she's doing much better in the studio recordings, much like Kellie Pickler. :P

Anyways, American Idol 5 Business aside, I did think that the girl who sang "Somewhere over the rainbow" was pretty good also. Although, she didn't do it exactly like Katherine McPhee. Even if she did, (and Katherine's was a modernized version of Somewhere over the rainbow by another artist, I think) it doesn't really matter because it's just the auditions. :P

I liked that Navy Guy a lot too, and I missed the Seattle episode, but it doesn't sound like I missed a lot.

DM, you honestly think Taylor has more talent than Katharine? ...Right.

I have more talent than Taylor Hicks. And I'm pretty sure a dying cat could beat me in a singing competition.

I'm very sad Katharine lost(partly because of my name Katherine, but mostly that I REALLY like her)

Katharine lost...

Yeah...I wish Katharine would have won...and my pinkie toe has more talent that Taylor Hicks. The only reason he won was because of his silver hair. He was a fad and people voted for the fad. It's sad, really. American Idol is supposed to have talented people win and that didn't happen this time around.

Awww...
Okay. I'm watching tonights episode. And I really did like Nikia. I feel badly she didn't get to go. She just seemed like a sweet person. And I liked her dancing in the street thing. *sighs*

Poor girl.

And wh-wha-what?! No comments about last night??? (which of the second half that I saw... seemed to suck).

Anyways, back to the show.

Eh, last night was pretty boring, and today was iffy, though, what's her face... um... that one that moaned Lady Marmalade was hilarious. xD Oh, and Tamika (sp?) last night that mumbled Ashante, once again, woke me up laughing when it was played on the radio (though not nearly as funny as the Cowardly Lion girl).

I can't remember which one was Nikia, though. There were one or two that I'm surprised didn't get in.

The really happy peppy person that auditioned before Simon got there.

I really liked that opera singer girl. Forgot her name though.

Side note:
Last night when some guy auditioned and sang the Blues, Simon whispered "That guy just blew Taylor out of the park."
