Hey, FFVIII can be sketchy at times, but it's not THAT bad. The worst FF to me is IX. And Sly Cooper was fun, but short.

Hey I love FF IX, and i dont like FF VII (too overrated, the game is ok but not the best)

And the worst game,I think....Halo

FFVII and VIII have very confusing storylines (still don't quite get VIII's after four time playing it).

My worst......Quest 64. You wanna talk repetitive? The last area is a maze of randomly chosen areas that you've already been through. Yes, you heard me right. Already been through.

you people have never even played a bad game in your life.
games whos entire purpose is dodgier than grand theft auto on a killin spree.
games whos plot is such a pile of conceited crap it makes the bible look posotively delightful.
games that i absolutely refuse to accept the existance of.
games that make ET look like metroid prime.

This has gone from "Worst Game Ever" to "Games I Hate Because They Are Overrated".

Seriously, for a game to be the "worst ever", shouldn't it have more of an anti-fanbase than a fanbase? Games like Halo, KH, .hack, and the Final Fantasies are hardly the worst games ever made. Although I don't care for the the 1st three in the list (or FFVIII), I know games that are worse than the surprises that my dog leaves in the neighbors yard, none of these fall under that category.

As for Ninja Gaiden and the whole "ninjas only use stealth" thing. Not true, that's just a stereotype that's been passed on for ages. That's not going to go into detail, but its nothing that can't be researched.

Is that humanly possible?

im afraid it is.. :o
ive been trying to find the names of these two games, but in retrospect i probably shouldnt post them anyway as i wasnt kidding about their dubious nature.

Well its a good thing I haven't played them because I would probably have to gouge my eyes out and then jump from my 2nd story window...
(Yes, I've played ET, although I was too young to really distinguish it from most other Atari games...)

Let me remind you all of a little game on the Genesis called Sword of Sodan. Do a search for it on GameFAQs, read the reviews, and you'll die laughing. It's such a bad game.

Right, ninjas are ninjas and shinobi, not splinter cells.

The My Little Pony game for the old Sony console. I was babysitting. Don't ask.

Oh, but it's so tempting.

Animaniacs Adventures--SNES. I beat it in a good hour or so.

I wouldn't say something like that. It could offend a lot of people, including me. D:

I don't really play a lot of bad games, but my least favorite so far is Sonic Heroes. I couldn't get through one level without shutting it off and stabbing pictures of the voice actors. Don't they know they sound like dying animals? ;_;

Worst game(s) ever? hmmm...

My list of really bad games:

Gran Turismo 3 A-spec
Twisted Metal: Black
Eternal Ring
M.U.L.E. (like Kugetsu said)
and the others are ones other people have said before so I don't really need to post them.

Kingdom Hearts - okay, some people say "this is the best rpg ever". not its not idiot, its just some ploy from disney and sony to try and get people more interested in both companies merchandise. "well its fun to play, and has a great plot" oh, whats that? running around with a key trying to defend yourself from stupid characters, and then beating some old FFVII characters?
oh, and FYI, my Cloud from FF7 could kick the death out of that stupid girl character from KHs, so im wondering how you can get strong enouhg to take cloud and sephiroth... i mean, last i knew my cloud had Knights of the Round :)

FFF reasoning for inter-game magics:
A lot of magic will dissapear, unless they are generalized between games. So, since Knights of the Round is only in FFVII, it wouldn't work/exist in the Kingdom Hearts world.

Captain SNES game world explanation:
The world of Kingdom Hearts runs on a different system than the world of FFVII. Cloud is in their world now, and has to deal with their rules. Summons don't work the same way in Kingdom Hearts as in FFVII, and he still has to get used to the whole, "actually fighting," not just giving commands and watching them be carried out based on statistics. So he would be considerably weaker, just like a basketball player won't be good at football, simply because he is good at basketball.

Worst racing game: The first F-Zero on GBA. The controls are like kicking a soap bar in the shower. Loosey-goosey, Loosey-goosey!

I agree about Quest 64. Definately the worst game ever. Confusing, repetative, almost non-existant storyline, and waaaaay to easy to get lost/die/miss important things. But anyone who can list ANY FF game as the worst game ever has probably never played a bad game in their life.

Actually, I liked Quest 64. I liked the whole idea of actually being able to dodge attacks, plus there was a great diversity in the magic spells. It actually became incredibly difficult to beat unless you became proficient in water magic or earth magic (IMHO), because they had the best spells (healing and draining, and magic barrier). Although it was true, the story was a bit odd. But I don't see how it was waaaaay to easy to get lost/die/miss important things. Getting lost, sometimes, but dieing and all that didn't happen to me too much, although I did start to run a lot in the end of the game, because I'm a wussy when I get faced with a 30 foot tall statue or butterflies of death.
