I'm Mandarin, and I can speak Mandarin. I can also speak some French.

I took French I. Now I can talk as much French as a French 1st grader or kindergartener. I can't remember what my teacher said. But as for understanding it when a French person talks I can't do that at all. And if I were to talk to a French person I bet they wouldn't understand me at all because I really need to work on my accent.
But I am taking French II and I really wanna take French up until my senior year of high school. Which would mean I'd be in French IV then.

I speak Spanish, English, Italian and French fluently. I understand Portuguese and can speak a few sentences, nothing fluent though. I'm starting to learn Japanese too but my knowledge so far is pretty close to zero. Even though it bores me to study languages, apparently I'm good at them

I have to learn it at school, but I choose Spanish out of importance. If you go to the Southern US (Flordia, Georgia), there are alot of Mexican workers there. It's good to know.
And I hope some people know that Mexican is Spanish. I only put it up to see if anyone would fall for it.

I'm afraid not. I wish I was bilingual but I don't have a knack for retaining vocabulary.
