((I'm going away for 3 days, can someone else take care of Iaran for me please?))

Iaran smiled and nodded at Laruna and Shane. "I am Iaran, and my element is Psychic. I can read minds, shield my mind, am empathic and I'm learning to move objects with my mind."

Sitting down she nodded her head towards her mother who had re-entered the room. "My family has been involved with the balancing of the Earth for thousands of years. My parents both knew that I'd have Psychic abilities because neither of them have had them. They study the stones, and the balancing and unbalancing of the earth. Unfortunately, the earth has entered its phase of being unbalanced, it only occurs every 500 years. That's why everyone is gathered here, because we need to balance the earth once more."

((Phew, so much talking!))

Kaila blinked. "Well. That explains a lot."

The confused look on her face gace away everything. Though she got the part about every five hundred years, she still had a lot of questions she wanted to ask.

Shane had a confused look on his face. "so, what exactly do we do now?" he asked. There had to be something that they needed to do to stop the world from being destroyed. "i meen, do we have to go some place or what?"

(Basically they are all at Iaran's house gathered around a book Kaila had found during an earthquake in the library. They are trying to figure out what powers they have, and are talking about how every 500 years the Earth has an Imbalance.)

"Exactly!" Kaila said, looking frustrated. "How do we save the Earth? It's my only home, you know. It's not exactly like Mars is fit to inhabit."

A thoughtful look came on her face. "Do you think this happens on Mars, too? Oh, never mind..."

"nice to meet you Iaran." Shane said, then he turned to Kaila and said "might have." he said, laughing sarcastically. "thats why there is no life on mars." He went looked back at the book, and thats when he realised that he was the only guy in the room. He felt like someone else was coming soon.

"Hey, good point. Maybe your right..." Kaila said, laughing. "Them Martians didn't know what to do I guess..." She smiled. "So, do you think anybody else is coming? I don't think there's that many people there..." she said, pointing at the stones on the book.

Kaila nodded as she looked around. "Well, your Dark, and Iaran is psychic... Luruna is light... what else? I'm believed to have weather, and that's about it that I can remember."

"I guess I'm water..." Turai raised her hand feebly, then looked around the room.

The group seemed... pathetic, to say the least. They were all children... with only one book to guide them.

"Hey... how do we even know that this book isn't fiction? I mean... basically... we're screwed, aren't we?"

Laruna shrugged, and looked from Turai to Iaran.

"Pretty much screwed, I guess...although there must be a way we can combine our powers...I mean, there should be seven of us, right? Iaran, your parents...I think you should tell us everything there is to know about this. I don't think everyone's clear on the situation..." She sighed, and gazed out of the open window. Life seemed completely peaceful for a minute, and then she remembered the earthquake, and all the destruction it had caused.

"Well, whatever we do...something tells me we'd better do it fast."

"well, we know it cant be ficction because we all have these powers. and, i dont think it says anything in the book about what we should do. so, yeah, we should talk to Iaran's parrents." Just then, Shane heard a knock on the door. "someone is here." He said.

Iaran got up and got the door. A strange boy was standing there. He looked no older than 12. He had a green leaf amulet around his neck. He must be earth. She though. "come in. are you the earth element?" she asked.

The boy looked down at his dog, a huskie that looked to have wolf blood in him, "I'm not sure. I went to the library to see if any of the books had survived. Most of them had, but my favorite one was missing. I asked around and some people said they saw some kid take it. Wreska here" he patted his dog, " picked up the book's scent and led me here."
