My method of income is the World Challenges for Mootix Drop. I just waltz in most hours and grab the high score. I get a full map for selling (19 pieces actually) in 1-2 weeks. I then sell in my shop. I've made at least 5 million since the WC was released 8)

However, that income source depends on some real skill at a game. It's been about 13 months since I started playing Mootix Drop.

Since you' haven't got much money yet, find some games that you are good at and that are fast. I used to play Whack-a-Kass on hard (learn the clicking secret) and then I could make 1200 np in 2 minutes. Escape to Kredulor took a little longer, but I could getabout 200 np. Lately, i've tried playing Snow Wars II, and I can make 3000 np really fast. Still, you need to try different ones out and see which ones you are good at; I can never understand why people like Meerca Chase so much.

Restocking is really the best way to earn money and it's not as hard to get into as you think. Try it after you've gotten a bit more money, and you'll see some great results. If you really can't stnad it, though, you can go back to games.

I'm really good at Meerca Chase, it's just that sometimes the game decides to be mean and doesn't put any rare neggs up. XD I play Meerca Chase, Destruct-o-Match, Igloo Garage Sale, and Ice Cream Machine. I'm good at all of those games and they give out a decent amount of Neopoints.

I almost have 100k. That's a lot for me XD But it took me a few weeks to get to this point. It's not really a problem of making money for me, it's just that it takes me a lot longer than most people.

don't be afraid to spend money to gain it. the stocks seem mind boggling at first, but you only look at like 3 stocks to buy every day. you just spend 15k to buy 1000 shares of something, and wait. there's like no chance of ever losing money, you'll just invest a lot. i have about 1M in stocks right now, but i have more in my bank than when i started

I would definitely go with the stock market. The stock market on Neopets is somewhat confusing as it doesn't seem to work like the stock market in the real world. Just buy 1000 shares of something at 15 NP per share. Then sell whenever the stock goes above 30 NP per share. Sometimes it takes forever to make a profit, but when you do, look out 'cos it'll be a lot. I just earned 78,000 NP from the stock market the other day, but I had been waiting for my stocks to go up for a couple months.

Good luck!

The top money makers basically get items cheaply and sell them for a lot.

Four examples:

a. Restocking. You get items from the Neopian shops as they restock, and sell them for a lot.

b. Sniping. You get items from auctions/wiz for cheaply (preying off of Neopian newbies) and sell for a lot.

c. Trading / TCing. You chat on boards and find people selling rare items (usually "hard to sells") for a low price, then you sell those items back to people who need them.

d. Inflation. You buy paint brushes, weapons, or whatever items and wait for them to inflate, then sell at the inflated price. Note I am referring to NON artificial (temporary) inflation. I am talking about war inflation, avatar inflation, ect.

I happen to do a combination of all four, which is what most Neopians do to earn lots.

At the moment I have 12k stocks in a company which was at 15 at the time of me buying the shares. It has now gone up to 20 which isn't a lot, but still I have made a tidy profit of 60 :)

If that goes up to 30 which is still quite common I will have doubled the invested money :)

Yes, I play the stock markets as well. I'll have to admit I just started, but I figure it's a good investment for my money. I just bought my lab map and petpet lab map a good 11 days ago, so I'm rather pleased with myself. ^_^

Well, I am not a neomillionare because as soon as I get enough neopoints to buy my next collectable card, but, if i saved my money, i just might be. Heres really all I do.

I get good at some games. I can spend maybe 20 minutes of free time and play 5 games 3 times each, which can get me 15k, and a lot of sponser games get me lots of neopoints.

I never gamble.
I never use slots.
I never Play Kiss The/Count The/Race The/ Anything.
I dont use stocks.
I dont use the wishing well.
I dont use scratchcards.
I dont do quests.
I dont EVER go in the Haunted Fairgrounds.

When I have time, I see what pet days are coming up, and draw a cute picture for the Art gallery, and stock up on pics and send them in as the day draws near. If Im lucky enough to get in, I may get something nice. I may also get something crappy, but spending 7 hours one free day can fill me up for 3 months worth of art.... so thats handy.

I'm patient with my shop. Whenever I get something nice, I put it in my shop, and look it up on the shop wizard. I put it as the cheapest price on the shopwizard WITHOUT refreshing. A pink poogle toy you could get cheapest at say, 500 nps with lots of refreshing. But, maybe the first time you actually look it up, the cheapest price turns up 1,300 nps for some reason. Thats what I price my toy at, because I know at some time, somebody will look up, and wont refresh for one reason or another, and will choose my price.

I sell EVERYTHING sellable. I dont waist/throw away/use things.

I dont feed my pets when I dont need to, which is ever.
Unless I need to fight in the Battledome.

Every time I think of it, I do dailys, but NOTHING that costs neopoints. I go to the Fruit Machine, the Shrine, Tombola, The old Tomb, Grumpy Old King, Guess the Marrow, Healing Springs, and Fish. I dont ever use wheels.... they wouldnt put them there if we would end up profiting every time.... they get the good deal out of wheels.

I dont spend money until I save enough for what I need. I find out what I want, and I save until I have enough to get it. Then I blow all my neopoints.

If something else comes up that I want along the way, I will put it on my list of things to get, but wont wander off from my original task, otherwise, If i keep doing side-quests, Ill never get to the thing im going for.

And thats that.

It's really not that hard, you just have to save and not spend all your NP on junk.

Making 10 - 15k a day takes me about an hour playing games, and that's all I really do.

If you do it every day, it really adds up.

I had an account that was 4.5 years old before it got frozen and I only had 2 million NP on it (long periods of YEARS where I didnt play at all).

I've had my new account since May or July, and I've made more than 1million neopoints. When I hit 1million, I did splurge and buy a ghost paintbrush for 500k. Now I'm back up to around 850,000. I'd have more NP now if I had more time to invest in neopets (sometimes can't get online for a whole week or more to play games), but I don't like I did this summer because I'm in college and I have a LOT of reading and papers...

But you can do it relatively easily, the key is don't spend all your NPs on stupid stuff.

Some games you can play that are quick and easy and give you good NPs if you're pretty good at them:

Usuki Frenzy -- you only make about 300np, but it takes about 30 seconds to play, so the NP/time played ratio is really good.

Ultimate Bullseye

Turmac Roll

Meerca Chase 2

Bouncy Supreme (once you get good at it, you get 3k a day easily, but it takes a few days practice to get the hang of)

And any of the sponsor trivia matching games. If you play once or twice, you learn all the answers and they give very good neopoints.

If I have more time, I also play Hasee Bounce and Faerie Bubbles.

Hm; it looks like a few wheels have changed play prices, so I'm removing any play price effects so you can decide when it's a good deal to spin. (Of course, this information comes from before the changes, so the Brain Tree rewards aren't scaled accordingly.)

WoE is profitable. Subtract 150 NP from the averages though.

WoMono is too, if you sell the items.

So are various quests. But yes, the rest of the wheels are money losers (except perhaps WoK, cube hasn't posted statistics from that yet)

I basically played games and bought scratchcards when I got started. As others have pointed out, if you can make 10k a day in games, you can make a million NP in a little over three months if you don't blow it on junk. Pay attention to what games you're good at and what are good NP earners for the time invested. I don't habitually play games I don't like, since Neopets is supposed to be fun, but I games that I like but aren't good NP earners I admit I play only occasionally, when they're the game of the day or something.

I used to do pretty well in the art gallery because I do sculpture, which is (or was) easier to get in than 2d art. However, after a bit I found I never got in anymore and finally gave up. I suppose I should try it again sometime, especially now that I have a tablet and can easily try 2d art -- which I'm not as good at and which is probably harder to get in with, but is also less time consuming to produce. (Plus, I need the practice.)

Investing in items you expect to inflate (for wars, avatars, etc.) is usually a good strategy. The best time to buy war items is before the war is announced. :-) I'm often bad about this but this time I'm going to make sure I lay in a supply of Sticky Snowballs as soon as the price drops again after this war. Note that this strategy can be long-term (for war items), and especially for avatar items is also risky.

But if you don't want to or can't restock, I think the stock market is a good way to go. It's not really that hard, even if you are only 12. I pretty much buy 1000 shares of whatever's at 15 or 16 that I have the least of. I sell at 50. (If I have a lot of the stock, I usually sell a big chunk at 50 at hold 2k or so to see if it goes higher.) I always keep at least 1 share so the stock stays on my portfolio page so it's easy to keep tabs on it. (If you start playing the market you'll see what I mean.)

Some people prefer to sell at 60. Some people like to sell at 30 or 40 at first, then start selling higher as their portfolio gets bigger. I gather some people at Neodaq.com, the ultimate NP stock site, have calculated that a sell point of 50-60 is the best sell point in terms of maximizing long-term profits, so you want to get up there eventually, though.

Buy at 15, sell at 50+, try to buy things you don't have so you have a good variety of stock (the more different kind you have, the more often a stock you have will go up).

See? It's easy. :-)

The down side is that you'll have to buy 1000 stocks a day (for a total of 15k a day) for several months before your portfolio starts becoming a source of NP instead of a money sink. So if you don't have a decent-sized bank account (or the ability to make 15k and change a day via games) it might be better to build your bank account and games skills for a while first. :-)

If you want to make a lot of money you should play games every day and restock. That is about all there is too it. If you played every single game, ever single day, even the ones you hate and are no good at, you'd make a lot of money. So far I've never managed to play every single game, but I have made myself play most of them. It did take me like four hours. But that was when I was saving for the krawks. Well anyway, I can't seem to make myself do that anymore, so I haven't reached a million neopoints ever.

Also I don't feed my pets anything extravigant. I like feeding my pets but I don't try to break the bank doing it. Now and then I find something like a toy or something I want to buy and I do, but I don't spend a lot either.
