Shane slowly walked tward the book. He was ignoring everythign around him. He sat down on the bed and looked through the book. He looked up at everyone, "what is this?" he said louder.

"It's my schools library book. That's all I know. Everyone else might know a bit more." Kaila said. There was something strange about him, the way he ignored the others and then just asked something. But she didn't mind, not that much anyway, she sometimes did that too.

Shane looked at the other people in the room. He looked at a page in the book. It said something about dark powers, and it said some of the powers and their descriptions. He matched them perfectly. He remembered when he started to notice these wierd powers. He sat there, his hair over his eyes, looking at the page. do these people have the other powers in here... he thought.

Iaran sat down and looked at the book also. "This book contains some information about the mystical stones that can be used to balance the earth and return everything to normal. The earthquake we experienced earlier is an example of the imbalance the earth is experiencing."
Quickly looking at the others in the room, Iaran continued, "You should all read these two pages, and see if any of the element descriptions relate to you."

"i already read them." he said. "i have the dark element." He looked around the room, and wondered what each person had. He stood up and walked over to a chair. He sat down in it. "so, whats everyone name here?" he asked. He fliped his black hair out of his eyes. He looked at everyone.

Kaila looked at the book skimming through them. No.. no.. none.. yes...
Weather- the ability to control the weather and storms, including earthquakes, volcanoes, and tidal waves. Wind goes erratic and wild near the person with this element at some times. Person with this element usually can sense when a storm is coming, and, if wishes, can stop it. Can create, stop, or move storms, size depending on users ability. Has a small amount of each power that has to do with the Earth.
"I think I'm weather, like you said. There's a storm coming to the northeast of here, but I knew that before I even looked." she glanced over at the boy. "I'm Kaila Smith."

A boy in his teens had entered the house, dressed completely in black. Suddenly Laruna felt a strange force develop between them, like a magnet attracting and repelling at the same time. He seemed to be stronger and weaker than her at the same time, the perfect opposite and yet somehow exactly the same. She entered the room, wondering what to say.
"Hi, I believe I can help too...my name is Laruna," she said tentatively.
And then it clicked.
She adressed the youth directly.
"If you have the dark element...then I must have light."
((Ack, sorry about poor quality of post...and I can change that bit at the beginning if you want me to; just a little idea about how dark and light would be opposites...))

"im Shane" he said to Laruna. he looked at her for a second, and felt something. it was a strange feeling, like they were connected some how. With out taking his eyes off Laruna, he said to Kaila, "so, you're the one that set off the earthquake?" After he said that, he looked at her.

Kaila looked over at Shane. "I don't think so," she said. "I was actually quite calm at the time, and wasn't really doing anything stressing. Just looking for a book for a report. And I thought I would enjoy the report, but I wasn't exactly excited or anything..."

"Are you sure you've got the power of Weather then? Or is there a possibility that someone has the same power as you? Because earthquakes are really uncommon in this area...at least they should be..."

Shane walked over to the book. "it says here that only one person can have an element power every 500 years." He said, looking up. "so, does this meen that this has happned before?" he had a slight look of nervousness on his face, then it dissapeared, in fear that someone might see it.

"500 years... what a stupid measurement. I mean, if they wanted for it to make any real impact, they'd make it every 666 years or something." Turai looked at the book, and frowned.
