Hey, I came back from Florida two nights ago and whew...I got out just before Hurricane Dennis started heading north.
Anyway, it's good to be back home in New Jersey. Florida was nice, but I don't think I could ever live there. (Far too hot and buggy!)
Disney was excellent! We went on Fourth of July to see the fireworks, and I was blown away. There were so many fireworks that at the end, everyone had soot in their hair and on their shoulders.
Epcot was my favorite park though, just because of the world showcase. :)

I got some pictures I should put up soon in the PPT pictures thread, once I stop being lazy and feel like uploading them. :P

I agree 100% on the Hurricane Dennis thing...that was bad! Which park did you go to on the 4th? I was at MGM that day... And what day did you go to Epcot?

On the 4th I was in Magic Kingdom, on the 6th I was in Epcot and on the 7th we kept hopping between MGM, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom to see things we didn't get to see the first two days.

We didn't get to go on the Dumbo ride though. :P The line was too long. But we got a fast pass for Splash Mountain. After the gigantic drop, Jess turned to me and said, "That wasn't the biggest drop though." She said my expression was priceless, my face turned pale! Heh, so yeah, Splash Mountain was fun, though I didn't get as wet as I thought I would.
The Pirates of the Carribean ride was pretty cool. We decided that we're going to make a ninja ride one day. *nods* Admit it, that would be pretty cool. ;)

Wow! That's really lucky to be able to get into Magic Kingdom when they're going to have fireworks... At least, I think they had fireworks on the 4th. If not ignore me. We tried to get in there for New Year's one year, and they were turning people away, because there wasn't enough room in the park, at 9 AM.

Glad you had fun, and welcome back!

Glad to hear you had fun! :)

I loooove Disney. I really wish I could go more often, but the parents don't agree.

WHY DIDN'T YOU COME VISIT ME? I'M ONLY 3 HOURS AWAY FROM ORLANDO!

.. just kidding :D. Glad you had fun though. And it's only buggy because we've had an insane amount of rain this summer.

Yeah, that's what Jess said. It rained on and off just about every single day there. It would downpour for ten minutes, and then it would be sunny skies for three hours, downpour some more, sunny skies...etc. etc.
We were 2 hours from Orlando. ;)

Oh, AFI , I am sooooo envious. We went to Disneyworld a few years ago and had such a blast that we said we would go every year. But, then junk always seemed to come up to prevent us from going again--new jobs, moving to a new house, illness, life in general.

I felt like such a kid at Disney. And, what I liked so much about it was that it was OK for an adult to act like a kid (i.e, blow kisses to Chip and Dale) and no one rolled their eyes at me. Oh, Epcot was so wonderful. I loved MGM, also. And, the restaurants. Some of them were to die for.

Oh, heck, I loved all of it!!!

*runs off to nag husband into going again*
