Put everything valuable laying on the floor or in your closet away before the kitties come. My cat had her kittens in my closet--on top of every pair of shoes that I owned. It was a safe place for her to go. Nice and dark. No threatening mom around (my mom HATED my cat). Needless to say, I did not wear any of those shoes again. Not saying it will happen, but it could.
But, the kitties that came about were worth all of those cruddy shoes (well, most of those shoes, anyway). They were so darned cute. I hope to see pictures of your sweet kitties and their mama soon.

Oh, they only look like that when they are just born. Every mammal looks like that when it is first-born--even those cuddly little human babies. Trust me, they do not come out all pink and sweet and wrapped in fuzzy, bunny blankies.
Once the mama cat licks them clean and they grow for a few days, they will be the cutest little "baseballs" around!!!!
