So should I buy pretty much everything I see?
Mon Jun 28, 2004 8:23 pm
Yup. Everything there is generally profitable (though some things only have a minor profit).
Another good place is the bookstore. THere are only 2-3 books that don't bring in a profit, and it's a good place to get quick at typing in the codes and stuff. Good practice for the more cutthroat shops.

Alright everyone, I am looking for some final opinions. Where do you think I should restock. I am pretty fast at typing, and my internet loads pretty fast so I can do pretty good in most shops. I want to made lots of money, obviously. I am still not AWESOME at restocking though...
Well, where do you think I should restock?

Sorry for the double post, but I think I kind of just made up my own mind. I stuck around for a restock at the book shop, and made like a 1,100 dollar profit, and I barely even tried. Well the items still haven't sold, but they will eventaully. So I'll probably restock here, there's like no competition at the book store..

Yeah, it's a good place to start out -- that's where I used to restock. Stay away from the Toy Shop

... that place goes scary fast.

Well, I have been restocking at the book shop today a bit and yesterday. Sof ar I have made a 26,000 NP Profit. Nothing much but hey it's a profit

I like the book store because pretty much anything you buy will make you money. Unfortunately it's usually only a 500-600 NP profit...
Do you recommend I stay restocking at this shop, or switch to another shop, and if I should switch, to what?

I just sat through 2 restocks, and all the have been selling is crappy items. They are selling like Piles of Sludge and Poision snowballs. I have not seen anything with over 600 NP value lol...

A few question to all of you restockers..
1. Do you all have broadband connections ? or any connection thats over 56K ?
2. Can I restock by have a 56K connection that connects at 33.6K bps ?
3. Are there any good shops besides the book and bakery shops ?
Thank You

I use broadband... from what I've heard, though, it's really difficult to restock using dialup.
I think there are a few other shops that are okay but they have fewer rare items. Check out the Kreludan bookstore -- I think most of the items there are still new enough to be slightly profitable (look them up on the wiz).

You can't of sat through two restocks and only seen Piles of Sludge or Poison Snowballs.I usually see(and buy) atleast one item worth 10K or more each restock.

Practically anything. Stuff that Mika and Carassa sell at the Igloo Garage Sale are usually
way underpriced. I once heard of someone finding an Anubis petpet there for around 900 np.

lol I don't know, but when I started out, it was in the card business.XD It goes slow enough for you to get used to the pace of restocking and haggling first before you try going to other, more fast-paced shops like book and furniture. The profits there aren't that great, like 20-25k a day, but it's good when you're starting out.
The best items to get there are the green (or gold, sometimes gray) cards, since they're rarer than blue and red. But once the green run out, then you can start trying to haggle with the blue and red. I think that most of the cards give profits as long as you haggle a bit, but it'd be better if you checked each of the prices anyway.^^
