Out of disinterest of the site, I ended up taking a taking a break from Neo for 2 years. It comes to the point now that my breaks usually consits of not doing anything on the site that takes effort (games and restocking.) Having a place like PPT can sure make the breaks enjoyable though ;P

Taking breaks happens to everyone. sometimes I get really tired of neopets, and than I miss it. It's just plain normal..at leats, leave with a smile!

When I read your post I realized that I'm into a break, too.
It's been ages since I did something that wasn't collecting interests, zapping pets and getting all the avatars that need just a click.
Anyways, I'm not leaving this wonderful forum

I got tired of neo well night two years ago, nowdays I question whether its worth keeping my pet fed as its so pointless.

I never take a full break from neo, just hardly get on it, I'll lab my pet or not even that, and then just get off. I've been doing some things in a new quild I'm in so I'm kind of into neo for the moment. I've been on neo for almost four years now and do stay off for almost months but never can quite stay away from it.

Heh I just took a HUGE break..I was a vet around these forums..Flazer if anyone has been here long enough. Geez, im just overwhelmed by everything new at neopets, I dont really know where to start. I even forgot where the shop is with the extremely expensive special items heh. I took a break because I got scammed a couple million NP..but yea I spend another million on stocks (AAVL) and I see it still hasnt changed..bummer. Guess I really cant do anything on neopets at the moment.

Everyone gets tired of Neo sooner or later. I only go on to make sure my pets are still in the neolodge and to do my daily's. Don't restock any longer.. rarely play games (sometimes play destruct o match) and erm.. that's about it. I may play seriously for a few days.. but it usually just goes back to the bare minimum.

Same here really. I've kind of just been playing the games I'm not horribly bored of. 'Working on the guild site... It's all entertaining, but it really isn't exciting anymore. Still, I could never take an actual break. The pull is too strong!

I'm thinking of taking a break too, as I'm just plain bored of the site. Besides, I've found another game that takes up my interest, so, I'm way happier.

Why waste the NP? It's not like their going to die or that the Neopolice are going to take your pets away for neglecting them!
Breaks are good! I assign myself days off when I don't even get on the internet!

No, it's not about NP raudf. It about being kind to animals, whether real or virtual. It's not wrong in Neopets terms, to neglect them, but it's morally wrong.
Anyway, I will log on occasionally to check my stocks, get interest, see if there are any avatars. I will prolly be much active after the exams, mid-October. For now schoolwork is much more important.

I'm thinking seriously about breaking off for a while, too. When I get to the point where I absolutely HATE the games I'm playing, but continue to earn the NP, I know it's time to take a breather.

yeah i have 200k right now i am bored with neo i always take a 1 month break but i do not want to miss any avatars
