A few years ago I made a big mistake in front of the class and my cheecks turn tomato-like red ( 
). The most annoying boy of the class then called me Tomaatje (which is Dutch for small tomatoe). This has been my real-life nickname for 3 years now

The first forum I joined was a Harry Potter forum. For those who don't read the series, Harry Potter's father, James Potter, had a group of friends, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. They called themselves the Marauders. There were four of them all together. I decided that they needed a fifth buddy.
Then I became The Fifth Marauder.
It sounds masculine, so I wasn't sure if I should register as The Fifth Marauder on PPT. I finally decided to, since all the other names I thought of were either taken or stupid.

Eh, they didn't call themselves the Marauders, the Marauder's Map is just the name of an object (as opposed to the hypothetical Marauders' Map), but enough people know what you're talking about when you use the term that it doesn't really matter.

Articfox, not much thought went into that, I wasn't serious at first about the froum but just got hooked and the name just stayed.

Well, I kind of have two usernames.
Zap Happy was created about a year ago, when I decided I wanted a name that started with 'Z' so I could have the highest post count in the Zs. After realizing that I would never beat Zero!, the name stuck and a few months ago I shortened it. I'm not sure why though.

Shall I start at the begining? Yes...lets.
Ok, when I first came here I was Sonchynne. Simple where I got the name, really. It's the title of a PM Dawn song I like. Although they spelled it "Sonchyenne".
And even for a little while my name was actually "somemodsarebiased". It was a big mess thing where one of the mods at the time let one of their friends get away with something or other. I don't even remember who was involved now.
Next was Freya(sonchynne), when the gods usergroup all chose god/goddess names. I chose Freya because I remembered my friend Freya telling me once she was named after a Norse Goddess, and it kinda just stuck in my head.
Next was Candy Cane. It was Christmas, go figure.
Then for about a week I was Mnemonic_vixen. One of my best friends, Mike, has the name Mnemonic at another site, so I just stuck on the vixen part.
Then I was Downtown Venus. Another PM Dawn song.
Now we get to TiggersHB. My current boyfriend, Steven. When Steven was little, he had so much engergy and he practically bounced all over, his family nicknamed him Tigger, so thats the first part. Well, one of Steven's nicknames for me is Honey Bear, so thats the HB part. It's really supposed to be "Tiggers HB", because I am Tiggers Honey Bear but I left out the space .

Funny enough, it's also a letter combination for New York licence plates. Or is that CKS? I can't remember.

when i first joined the forums over a year ago,my nickname was katarina_zviz ; katarina is my first name and zviz is slovene for snitch(umm...the little gold thing,that harry chase at quidittch), then when my account was frozen,i changed it to katarina_ and it stayed that way.
as for this name, me and my friends were joking on aprils fools day,and we changed our irc names to smurf and smurf , which later became yoyica.i kinda stuck with it

Well, my main pet in Neopets is called Ixistant18, so when I joined, I took up the name Ixistant18. At christmas time, I changed my name to Satan Claus, and before i changed back, I decided to drop the "18" at the end of my name. So I then became Ixistant. Over the time, I've had many name changed because of ASP and CCC, and during one of those stints I was even Zero!

Well, one day a long time ago, before I ever joined Neopets or PPT, i was on some kind of chat and I needed a name for myself.
After some pondering, I came up with Optimus and used that.
Then one day I decided it was time for me to create a Hotmail account for Optimus. (I already had one for the real me, but it has my name all over it. ) Apparently Optimus was taken. (Go figure), so I picked one of the alternate choices, optimus_87, which is my username with my year of birth at the end.
Everything was just fine and dandy after that until I created a Yahoo! Mail account (or was I doing it for Geocities? I can't remember for sure). optimus_87 was taken, so I went with optimus_87_ca, which simply has _ca appended to the end (for Canada). After that, I was pretty much safe to use that name everywhere without worries.
So when I got a Neopets account I used optimus_87_ca, and also for when I joined the PPT Forums.

I used to LOVE Zelda. Zelda was my life way back when.
I changed my name with each phase I went through. Love of Faeries and my new Faerie Acara resulted in Faerie Medli. Inisible Medli was used because of my liking of Clay Aiken's "Invisible". Princess Medli was because I had a sudden and quick obsession with Super Smash Brothers Melee and Zelda. Raindorf Medli because it was Christmas time,there was a Raindorf on my set,and Raindorfs are my favorite Christmas petpets. Kitten Medli,simply,because Kitten is my name on a George Huff forum,and I love my kitty.
