No. There is absolutely no proof that they exist. Lights turning on and off, etc. is because of a problem with power. Someone from beyond the grave isn't in your house. -____-;

I will never believe in ghost unless one knocks on my door and plainly says "Hello, I'm a ghost."

I found that funny lol.

"Hello, I'm a ghost. Nice to meet you. Mind if I pop in for a cuppa?"

Mm, yes, as a matter of fact I do... I see them all the time in Werewolf... mmhmm...

On a serious note: Yes, actually. I've seen one before, and my dad... he's seen a lot. And he's not necessarily one to make things up.

They can't hurt you, though, you can only hurt yourself, m'dears. ;)

Yes I believe in ghosts and paranormal things.
I've seen and experienced too much stuff to think otherwise.
Even if ghosts aren't real, it's still fun to read ghost stories, look at ghost pics and listen to EVP's :)

Ghosts have neither been proved to be real, nor have they been proven to be fake, nobody here can say that they explicidly do not exist. I could say that in an alternate universe, I'm a naked mole rat that jumps and flies around on a keyboard whilst singing Waltzing Matilda. Nobody can prove this false, nor prove it to be correct. You can have your own beliefs though :D

And I believe that ghosts are real. I don't believe like 99% of the pictures you see on the net, since they're mostly fake. I mean, it's not too hard to add a tranparent person into a photo :P I remember telling my 'rents that I saw 'God' come through my window and talk nicely to me, before flying out. This was when I was like 3 years old. And 'God' told me that my mum was pregnant. And lo' and behold, my mum was in fact pregnant. My parents were shocked outta their wits :P

Now I only see two possibilities here. Well, three.
First, there was in fact a ghost.
Second, my parents were lying to me.
And third, Michael Jackson and/or the family doctor had crawled through my window and told me.

Hm, sadly I do believe in ghosts.

But I don't believe they visit you and haunt you and scare the sweet beejebus out of anyone. *shrug* I wouldn't be scared living over a graveyard, either (I hope).

Every grave belongs to someone. If you see a relative's grave, you're thinking, "Oh, yeah, there we go, that's fine, because they're family I'm not scared.", but it's not all lost souls, unfinished business.

I can't really judge what I don't understand.

Okay, that was funny. xD

Considering I spent the first 19 years of my life living in a haunted house... I'm gonna say yes.
It was funny though, the two floors of our house used to be two seperate apartments, and after we moved in (four years before I was born) we stayed downstairs, because the upstairs didn't have central heat and air. Well, the ghosts mostly stayed upstairs, so maybe it was someone who'd lived in the upper apartment, or something.

Even before movies like The Sixth Sense and The Others, I figured that the ghosts must not know that they're dead. It's gonna sound crazy, but ours... well, we didn't use the upstairs for anything more than storage. And a game room.
Well, we'd all be downstairs, no one was upstairs. And yet we'd hear the distinct sounds of people playing pool upstairs. We could hear footsteps, the balls hitting eachother and rolling across the taple, the pool sticks tapping, etc. Pretty creepy. But I figure the ghosts didn't know they were dead and were just trying to have a good time.

When my oldest sister was about four or five years old, she woke up in the middle of night, and saw an old man wearing a hospital gown sitting on her bed with his ankles crossed. When she told my mother about it, she didn't know what a hospital gown was, she described it as a 'funny white dress'. Until a couple of days later when she saw a person wearing a hospital gown on TV and quickly informed mom that that's what the old man had been wearing.

One night, my dad, when us kids were still kids, couldn't sleep, so he went upstairs to listen to music. After he got up there, he heard a little kid calling out "Daddy! Daddy!" so he went back downstairs, but all four of us were sound asleep. He went back upstairs, and heard it again. He started back down the stairs, and was about halfway down when he realized the voice was coming from upstairs.

Another time, when my dad was working late, mom was waiting up for him, sitting on a rocking chair in the living room. At some point she got up to get something to drink, and when she came back, the rocking chair was completely turned over (not just knocked over, it was upside down).

There was a lot more than that. And little things like hearing whispering in the silence, and our pet cats staring scared at empty spaces, probably seeing something we couldn't see, and lights turning on and off (not flickering or quickly either, a light upstairs would be on for days when no one was up there, and then turn off for days, and then back on again). A lot of the paranormal stuff stopped after we'd been there for several years. Maybe they got used to us.

Yes. I have not seen one, I don't really want to see one, but I feel that there is potentially something out there and many of the stories are very convincing. Rather than not believe until they are proven to exist, I will choose to believe until it is proven they don't exist.

Saph, I must say I wouldn't dare to enter your house. *shudder*

I have never seen ghosts before (thankfully) but I do believe there are spirits and demons in this world.
