I've heard of that stuff myself (although it's not just limited to MMORPGs), it also depends on the company running the game. There are quite a few who allow trading items for cash .
Of course there's always the disadvantages of buying your way though a game...

I was refering more to how you may have the best stuff, but without the expirience of how to earn to it and do other stuff .... you're more like a spoiled brat and may not go far in the game.

Give a man a fish and he can feed himself for one meal. Teach a man how to fish and he can feed the whole village.
Oooor something like that. ^.^
If you don't know how to control your np, then you're just going to lose it all on things you don't need.

That is fairly sad. Neopoints for cash. Talk about buying your way ahead.

Uhhhmmm, all of those links end up German for me. Is there something wrong with that, or is it really supposed to be German? (ah, the disadvantages of not being multilingual!

)

That is so pathetic. People want to pay
actual currency just so they can have a huge number on their computer screen. It would seem that anyone who bids on one of those auctions has no life outside the computer

aaargh! people always mix up german and dutch!
that's dutch, flemish to be exactly, you notice the .be? that means belgium and then it's either dutch or french
Dutch : Dit is de Nederlands taal, verwar het niet met Duits!
German : Dieses ist die deutsche Sprache, nicht verwirren sie mit Holländern!
lolz
anyway, the lot ended!

Ah, selling np for cash.

I'm not too surprised actually. I think its quite sad and pathetic personally. Not only because it's against the rules but because people are trying to make money of the virtual part of neopets.
One time though, I saw some lots by this person who was selling his/her actual neopet. One was level 45, and one was level 32 and they wanted like 3 bucks for every level or something. The poor pet!
I guess selling things like np and pets will always pop up, especially now that Neopets is so popular...

freetranslation.com has both dutch and german translating... it says this:
"The requested object (5504038190) has been started invalid, not yet or comes no longer for in the eBay-data boss. Check the object number and try it again. If this report then still is reproduced, is the offer not started so that these not yet can be reproduced or is the offer lapse so that these not longer available is."
so freetranslation.com isnt perfect, but hey its english and its understandable. TNT probably watches out for things like that on ebay and has them removed when they find them.

As the lot has ended, out of interest, how much Neopoints was he selling and for how much actual money? Does anyone have a screen shot?
