Ooh, that's so cool! Is it the only tree around that's doing that?

One time in Vancouver, the trees started blossoming in April-May, then all of a sudden, there was a random freak snowstorm about a week before they probably would have fallen off. Some of the blossoms kept growing while some just froze. Longest period of blossoming I've ever seen.
