Me and my cat can sense the weather and tell if something bad will happen. Whenever my mom is going out to get a pizza at like 8:00 PM in the night, I shout "No!" and me and my brother go. And you know what? It's always the same thing, a car almost runs me over, I don't want mom to get injured.

Well that's not fair because someone could turn around and say you're imagining yourself posessing these special powers.... Goes both ways really.

I think most of these powers are just mind tricks really. I was thinking about when I dreamt of what would happen in the future and I realised that it was just my mind telling me what had been screaming at me for weeks. Dreaming is just a way of logically putting together those tiny little signs that your conscious mind misses.

I also think that a few people on here are bending the truth slighty. How can these powers be "special" if the majority of us here claim to posess them?

Anyway today, I had my palm read and it was eerily accruate and it described me to a tee. I'd also like my tarot cards read... *looks at meowth*

The fact that very few of this at all makes ANY scientific or factual sense should be enough to anyone to prove that it's not real. Yeah, I know that somebody is going to use this as an opportunity to say that if I believe this, I can't believe in God, yada yada. And if you do feel the need to question my Christianity because of this, I would very much like to hear from you in a PM.

And to ShyShy about the Dursley comment- that was rather rude.

Anyway, I choose to leave this topic now because I am sure as Hell not changing my mind and neither are the rest are you, so arguing would be most completely pointless.

Dawn, more than anything, I do think you proved my point for me. I'm not questioning your religion, or telling you that you can't believe in it...but I'm not telling you that you're lying either. That's all I have to say about it.

Well, as long as 70% of people posting in this thread, and an estimated 81.43% of people below the age of 45 on the internet have special powers, its pretty safe to assume that they are all telling the truth.

So please excuse me, my special power is telekinesis and I have some stuff to move.

Althought one time, me and my friends were playing throwing a golf ball around at school, and then i threw it at a window, it bounced on the concrete, was about to hit the window whilst i was like "noooooo!" really fiercely in my head, and it bounced harmlessly off. Magic? Backspin? Someone else's psychic powers? Who knows. All that matters is that I didnt have to pay for a broken window, and it made everyone go "wow"

LOL, for some reason that reminded me of what I do when I go bowling. When I know its going to be a gutter ball, I either stare at the bowling ball and go 'Left! Left!' (or whatever way I want it to go. I actually mutter it, I don't think it in my head... yeah...) while leaning in that direction, or I scoot in the direction I want the ball to go. Sometimes it works, but people think I'm quite crazy because I do that... I don't mind. They picked it up, too, but it doesn't work as well for them! I'm sure some others can do it, too... I might have picked it up from someone myself. I still find it funny, though.

Meowth: It's very very kool you can read tarot! I've been begging mom for a set, but she keeps freaking out, and telling me I want to be in a cult... ?

And I know that I'm probably one of the one's yall think are lying, and If i am you can tell me to my face, I don't mind. Because I actually do know that I'm telling the truth.

And oh! yalls posts reminded me of the other stuff I can do. I can sense where my bowling ball is going to go (i'm the worst bowler in my league). I swear I have also moved things telekineticaly before, but only one of my friends believes me, because she has powers also and she saw me break a charm once. (a charm like a charm bracelet charm)

You can make a Tarot set if you really wanted to. When I do readings (don't ask me for one though, I'm way too lazy to do them for anyone but myself) I only use the Major Arcana (first 22 cards). If you have an old deck of cards lying around that's missing a few, you can pick 22 of them out and write the names of the cards on them. Then just learn how to read, and go. Tarot cards are like Ouija boards, there's no actual power in the boards/cards themselves, so you can easily make your own.

One ability my younger brother and I discovered we both had was attracting girls about 5 years younger than whatever age we were.

Naturally, this ability went away about the time that someone 5 years younger would be of any interest.

I don't really know if it's a special ability or just a coincidence, but I seem to have the ability to make any computer crash when I'm around. I's very annoying really.
I even made a calculator crash, I didn't even know it could do that. I had to take the batteries out to make it work again. Even some other apparatus I work with (I work at a laboratory) sometimes crash and have to be restarted.
My boyfriend noticed it already. His computer sometimes suddenly starts up, without touching anything when I'm around. I also made his computer crash once and he couldn't get it working again, even after starting it up again and again. He tried it again when I was gone and everything worked fine

I used to have the strange ability to break vacuum cleaners. Anytime I tried to use one, the sucker (I totally didn't intend the horrible pun, I promise) would break.
Once I was housesitting for my aunt, and the day before she was supposed to arrive home, I cleaned house. And while vacuuming the living room, the thing broke. Smoke was coming out of it... So I put it back in the closet and pretended nothing happened.
Due to my unique ability I was able to avoid vacuuming when people asked me to for several years. But, alas, vacuum cleaners no longer break at my touch, so I have to use them now.
