Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine...That game was awesome! Sure it was just a variation of Puyo Puyo, but it provided my brother and me hours of puzzle fun.

Oh em gee, that was a really fun game! Do you remember Sonic Spinball? That game got no attention, but it was pretty fun. I still play it sometimes.

And Toejam and Earl! Hours and hours and hours of entertainment. :>

Robotnik's Mean Bean machine was... well... I never liked it. My dad really liked it though (he beat that game more often then I beat most games I play). Sonic Spinballs was fun... for about an hour before it got way too repetative. It is also a game that is almost physically impossible to beat, and I couldn't use cheats as they didn't work for me ofr some reason! Personally, two underrated games stand out for me:

Bucky O'Hare (Megaman-style game from NES's release, based on an anime, which controls simiar to the sonic heros team play)

Maniac Mansion (game with Earthbound-style jokes having 3 teens infultrate a mansion with tentacle creatures and living meteors to save the damsel in distress without getting caught, with many, many alternate endings!)

That game is hard... I'm stuck on the third robot-guy.

DARN YOU, MULTI-COLORED BLOBS!!!

Underrated games... Hmmm... Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Evermore, Harvest Moon... I'll think of others...

DRMBM is fun. I just got done playing it a few minutes ago on the Sonic Collection game.

As for Sonic Spinball... bleh. Just reading that name makes my head hurt. Never was a fan of it. -_-

Toe Jam and Earl - Awesome series! On one of the games (I forget which, though it's the one I played the most). I usually get u on the higher floors and find most of the pieces to the ship, but then I end up doing something stupid, and then landing on a small chunk of land in the middle of nowhere and no way to get off of it.

Bucky O'Hare - I used to play this game all of the time when I was about 5 or 6. I remember gloating because I beat it and my dad couldn't, though it took me hours to get past the last level.

Maniac Mansion - Also an interesting game. I played it until all of my people were locked in a room, couldn't figure out what to do, and then quit. Maybe I should pull it back out again.

-------------------------------

I'm not quite sure if it was ever really popular or not, but I also liked Ironsword 2 (I know that's not the full name) for the NES. I never did beat the 4 elementals at the end of the game.... It's very frustrating (VERY) but I always found it fun.

Princess Tomato for the NES is also very underrated. I swear about a year ago I hated that game enough to put it in the "Worst Game Ever" topic. After playing through it again, it's actually fun.

Yeah, that last level I didn't beat until recently. Only typical that Bucky himself was best for it.

Just move the cursor over the bricks until it reads "loose brick" and have one kid push/pull it and the door will open. Then have another dash out before it closes and you're out! Note that the one who opened it, however, won't be able to reach the door in time.

Amazing Island (GCN) only came out a couple months ago, but I haven't heard anyone talking about it. It's a fantastic game. You create monsters and do courses with them (mini-game type courses) to save the Island of the Maboos from the Dark Evil. I know, it sounds childish but it's absolutely fabulous. There's alot of items/accessories/paint patterns that you can get to improve your monsters, and then improve your scores in the mini-game type challenges to get more items. It's bright and colorful so it seems like it's for children, but some of the games are extremely hard. Overall, I think it's the most underrated GameCube game.

I LOVE PHANTASY STAR ONLINE!!! I mean, sure, I used an Action Replay to make my HUmar Zero to level 200, and my friend duped a bunch of awesome weapons for me... But it's still fun! I like the rappies (little penguin-chicken things). X3

I had to go to nine stores to find PSO Ep. I & II for Gamecube. :\

That would be Toejam and Earl 1. I hated falling off and landing on that random land chunk. Still fun though.

Ape Escape is another underrated yet really fun game. Not any of the PS2 versions or sequals though. Just PS1 Ape Escape plain and simple. Takes a while for the game to get interesting though because it starts out really easy.

Tombi 2 for PS1. I love that game to pieces. Hardly anyone seems to have heard of it. I struggled to get that game, I ended up buying it in Glasgow one time, it was pure luck I saw it there. I can't find Tombi anyway though. But yeah, both very underrated in my opinion.

Ohh, I loved Ape Escape! Like you said, only the PS1 is good. It rocks. :D I haven't spoken to anyone else who likes it! *chuffed* :)

Tetris Attack. That one didn't get a lot of attention, but man do I rule at it! XD Okay, so they remade it in Pokemon Puzzle League, but still...
I can't remember how to spell the original name of it , I think it was Panel de Pon, and it had faeries and witches and stuff as the main characters instead, with enemies like Dragon and Phoenix. I guess they remade it with Yoshi's Island characters so it would sell, but the original is adorable. ^_^

And I remember Zombies Ate My Neighbours... Ooooh, that was fun, though the guys with the chainsaws comming through the bushes kinda scared me.
