Some ideas...

1. Random event at every page (Something that jumbles up the items on every page)
2. Purchase confirmation codes
3. Purchase things in flash or java applet
4. Require to install autobuyer detection program to be able to restock(Sorry I can't write programs. Hire someone from microsoft).
5. Limit number of rare items purchased each day.

So any ideas on which one do you think is the best is the best?

Since they have introduced the actual random time for RS, I, a dial-up user, have been able to restock things a few times. If they were to change it to flash/java to restock then I would never again be able to RS.

Hmmm, good concept, but it wouldn't work very well.

A good idea, but it woiuld end up getting on a lot of people's nerves.

Ahhh, a great idea, but I'd feel really sorry for all those dial up users.

Okay, at first this seemed like a great idea, but um, what if you're not allowed to install programs on the computer you use to play neo? And what if you play it at school or in a Library? Wouldn't work

Other than that, your other 2 ideas are pretty good.

Honestly, I don't see that autobuyers are that big of a problem. I've never used an autobuyer in my life and I still get rares in the toy shop. I think this is more of a "many people on Neopets" problem, and there have already been things to stop that (Such as clicking ever 5 seconds and clicking on the proper pet).

<STOWA|Sleep> my sister questioned the title. "Half Blooded Prince? Does that mean he's a Moogle"

1-3 are bypassable through software (effectively, you'll only slow things down for the people, autobuyers will just jump up a level in complexity).
4 is too evil. It would probably be bypassable as well.
5 will get every restocker on neopets screaming at you. And, as plushie said, it'll just encourage more accounts to be used for autobuying.

They should create multiple "worlds" with a million people max on each one. And say, users from neopianot cannot contact users from neopan.

I really fail to see what the problem is with the current image-on-image system used to thwart autobuyers. Are there really already programs that are able to detect which wocky of the four is the correct one, and send a signal to the neopets servers that the correct wocky or whatever has been clicked?

I haven't had a problem restocking since the current validation system came about.

Neopets doesn't have 1,000,000 users on at a time =)

How is that going to stop autobuyers?

I'm for more rares. I don't restock myself, but the MIA list at NeoItems is getting quite big.

What is an autobuyer?

JasEdit: Please do not use acronyms where the individual words would be filtered. Thank you.
