I had one of those. And other other fun hacked items. ^_^ I've been getting used to playing without them. It's not that bad actually..

I've been addicted the past couple weeks. I've enjoyed actually playing with my Sims more than I had in the first game. Almost too much fun. Some homework has been slightly neglected as a result.

I ordered sims2 a week ago but it still hasnt come =:0(

Where did you order it from and what shipment option did you choose?

I'm still trying to find a rejuvenator for the Sims 2, but I don't think people are worrying much about items at the moment. The only thing that really bugs me so far is the slight lack of styles when it comes to items. Not that there aren't a lot of great options, but I have a strange taste and most of the items just don't fit it. :/

Which was never a PC game. The PC and console versions of The Sims are different.

Yeah, the console versions are rubbish compared to the PC versions.

Ohhh...ah well, I know what I'm asking for for christmas then =D

yeah, there is a tool you can buy with the Aspiration points that does the same as the rejuvinator, except you have to have gold aspiration level or above to use it, still great though :D and the elixer of life is a must-have item.

This game is apparently so addictive that certain friends will not speak to certain other friends because they're too busy playing. -.-

Eh, sounds cool anyway.

Still for me it isn't working, and for anyone else who still has a big problem with their game -

Maxon hinted there was a patch in the works, so I went and had a look
around:

"Well, you asked for it and you've got it - we are working on a patch
for The Sims 2.

We've been reviewing the boards and looking at the calls that have
been coming in to Tech Support for the last couple weeks - checking
out the scene and seeing what issues are most important to you. We've
investigated and offered resolutions where we could and now we're
compiling the list of what we hope to address in a patch. BTW, this is
the SOP (Standard - or Sim - Operating Procedure) for Maxis when we
release a game - we always take a couple weeks after the game comes
out and watch the response.

So, while the majority of users are able to run the game with no
problems we know that there have been a couple issues you guys have
run into while playing the game and we're going to do our best to
gather additional information from you so that we can resolve as many
of the issues as possible. Next week there will be a form on the
website for The Sims 2 that will allow you to enter in your
information in order to help us track down and reproduce issues.

As I have more information, including timing of delivery, I'll post it
to this thread.

Thanks for your patience and continued support!

Can anyone tell me some cheats for the Sims 2? I just got it and I really need to know the money cheat because my sims are sooo poor. I don't even know how to get the box to come up so I can type the word in. Does rosebud still work?

Tue Dec 21, 2004 4:23 pm

Bwahahahahahahaha......

I'm getting it for Christmas. *Saw package that conveniently looks like a computer game box which must be the Sims 2 because I didn't ask for anything else.*

Is it good? :P

My friend, all your answers can be found here.

I'm getting TS2 for xmas and I was wondering if I needed to know anything except for the 3.5GB space and the 4 discs.
