When I watched it, I was pretty impressed. The cast is great, and the the story is much differant than any other drama out there. I'm wondering how they'll survive as a searies though, because it's looking more like a movie than anything else... o_O I think there's only you can do on an island without running out of story ideas... :)

I was wondering about it lasting as a series as well.
Maybe they're just gonna go all out Sci-Fi with it or something?
*shrugs*
I really can't wait to see where the show goes... I just hope it doesn't get cancelled....
So everyone who loves it make sure to go email them and say that you like it! heh

Oooooo... :o
Tonight's episode was really good.
Lots of conflict and plot twists and just really good.

What got me though.. if that recording had been going fo 16yrs.. you would think whatever had been running it would've ran out by then.. (the battery or whatever) *shrugs* Guess ya can't think into things too much heh

Next week's episode looks really good
Oh and if anyone missed the first episode (not sure if they're gonna show the 2nd)... they're running an encore of it on Saturday :)

According to my local tv listings, Lost is going to be on for two hours on Saturday, so I guess they're showing the first two episodes back to back. Which is good as I missed the second one.

First time I saw this show tonight. Um...yeah, I got sucked in.

All the people on the "Lost" fan site seem to be picking favorites, so mine is the girl who appears to be a criminal (give me a few eps, I'm awful with names). We don't know yet what exactly she did, but I like how cool and rational she is, and the criminal part gives her a rough edge. I liked it when the blonde jerk turned around, and she just swiped the pistol out of his pocket and turned it on him.

Oh, yay, there's an encore showing? Good. I feel asleep and missed tonight's episode. xP

I like Hurley (he's the big guy) :)
Thought it was hilarious when he fainted at the sight of blood.
Plus that character just seems like a really sweet guy.
I just really really hope that they don't decide to kill him in some later episode.

Also read one of the articles that is in some sci fi magazine...
The big creature isn't a dinosaur.
And apparently.. the first season is only the first 40days that the characters are on the island... how interesting... let's just hope they don't decide to cancel the show.. or to give it to the Sci-Fi channel (would suck b/c I don't have cable).
OO and some more juicy info on what they plan for the show... very interesting stuff! Like how it seems.. our main characters aren't going to be main characters throughout the show.. mmhmm.. very intriguing!

Booo.. link doesn't seem to be working anymore...

EDIT: Oh... there's a link... http://www.lostfansite.com/images/scans/

In one of the interviews... they say that each episode is taking place pretty much right after the last one.
That's how they're going to keep the series going. Sorta like a "24" thing..
that make sense?

I like how she framed the blonde-jerk as the criminal, very slick.

When I saw that part, It reminded me of The Langeleers. They both have the same sort of "somethings screwy with time" feel.

Yea, that's my theory, somethings screwy with time.

Uggh, I saw the Langaleers, I thought that movie was creepy. And I have my own theories about time travel, and the movie had completely different theories, so I spent most of the time arguing with the TV screen. :P

Anyway, I just saw both episodes tonight (I had to record it on Saturday) and I loved it. The whole thing was very 'jurassic park', but it didn't feel like a rip-off, because there were so many different things in it. I like how they're revealing bits and pieces of each person's life before the crash, as it kinda makes it as if you were there yourself, and found out a little at a time. All in all, it seems very well made, although I can't help but agree that it seems more like a movie than a plot, and I wonder how they can possibly stretch it out for so long. It's the only new show I'm watching this season, and it seems remarkably good for an ABC series.

He's my fave too! For mostly all the same reasons. My nephew and I are watching it. We really like it. I like the part in last weeks episode when they heard that message in french on that transmitter

Oh, amarise and CommanderSwiss, it's Langoliers, not Langaleers.

At least you could figure out what I was talking about.

The premise of the show made me very nervous when I first read about it. It just seemed very.. forced. I'm not exactly sure if this is supposed to be a mini series or an on-going full season show. I don't think they can keep it up for an entire season, though.
The show itself is interesting, to say the least. My first impression was Jurassic Park, like a lot of other people, but I was really surprised when the overall plot made me forget about the trees moving and focus on the characters involved. I like the random strange and obsessive characters that were thrown in.
When I saw the handcuff scene, I actually assumed that the orange peel man was the criminal. >.< Did anyone else just to that assumption?

The recording was a great touch. I really liked that scene. Although, that blonde girl is really getting on my nerves and the fact that she threw a fit like that just made me want to smack her even more.

When I saw the handcuffs, I thought the British guy was the criminal. :P That orange peel guy does seem awfully strange, though. I spent most of the first two episodes trying to guess who the 'bad guy' would be, and I never thought it would be that girl. Although, it does seem that with all the warped personalities, pretty much anyone could be the 'bad guy' in any given episode. I still have my suspicions about that british guy, though.

One thing that did bug me, when he killed the bear they were all like "It's a polar bear, oh wow, how did that get here?" but just because a bear is white it doesn't necessarily mean it's a polar bear. I realize that that's what we're supposed to assume, but polar bears aren't the only bears that are white furred. Black bears can also be white furred naturally. (And I mean genetically, not actual albino bears)

And pardon me for not spelling it right, I'm going off of memory of what the name sounded like, as I've never read the book and I've only seen the movie once, about 5 years ago.
