:P If someone is sending me money through PayPal to pay for Neopets Premium, will it show up on my credit card bill? I don't want my parents to see that I'm paying for it, because they hate Neopets.

And what I mean is they send me money through PayPal, it stays there, and I use my money they sent me to sign up for Premium through PayPal.

In that case, no. You should be able to use money stored in your paypal account, rather than having it debited from any credit account.

Okay, thanks. :P

And the other person is my older cousin, who plays Neopets too and has moved out. :P I pay her cash, she uses her credit card to wire me money.

How exactely is it that you do that? I just tried to get a premium account, I clicked on the paypal payment, signedinto my account, agreed with the whole therms thing. and then it asked me to add a credit card.

I dont have a credit card i just want to pay off the balance of my paypal account bt I dont get an option?

I'm not sure how you directly pay from paypal, but I have a debit card thing from paypal. With the card, you can use the money in your paypal account.

Now, I haven't done it this way for awhile, but what I used to do when I was actively selling and buying on ebay was I'd get payment from something I sold, it goes to your paypal account and you have the option to have all of it sent to you in a check, direct deposited to your checking account or part of it. What I usually did was have some (like half) sent to my checking account and would leave the rest in my paypal account.

Then when you buy something, or in this case, have your premium payment set up through paypal, the money to pay that bill will come from the balance in your paypal account before it goes to your checking account or credit card. And you can specify which you want it to come from if you don't have enough funds in your paypal account.

The Premium paypal I'm going to guess needs a credit card. I know that I had let my cc lapse and suddenly my account was "unverified". As soon as I added a credit card again, it became "verified". Maybe you should just have a personal account for now?

I don't know how much has changed since ebay bought paypal out. I've had my paypal for quite a few years now, so for me it's just a matter of remembering to update information as needed.

The way I understand it is that Paypal is sort of like another bank account. You can transfer money to and from it and checking accounts, credit card accounts, etc.

So if Neopets Premium lets you pay through Paypal (not sure if it does or not), and you pay with the money in the account, then no. If you transfer the money in your paypal account to your credit card, then pay for Neopets from the credit card, then yes.

I think. Did that make sense? 'Cause it didn't to me.
