I am currently on the hunt for a good book, it seems all my fav authors are taking too long with their sequels/trilogies/next books lol.... And I desperatley need something good to read! I enjoy fantasy/sci fi/fiction really any good book with a well written/thoguht out plot!

PErfect, you really need to read, Prey by Michael Crichton, I think that is how you spell it, And Also The Andromeda Strain, and Slatewiper. If you like computers and are GOOD in math, read Digital Fortress. The good thing about those books above is that EVERY single one was a bestseller at one time, and they are from world renown authors.

I've read a couple of those, and they're good. If you would like something funny, try any of the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. He has a very well constructed world. Or the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix.

Hahaha, I am kidding. Are you a Christian? If you are, I know of some good books.. otherwise.. maybe Black Beauty.

I'd really recommend The Bartimaeus Trilogy (The Amulet of Samarkand and The Golem's Eye so far) by Jonathan Stroud. They're amazingly witty fantasy books.

Out of the realm of those two genres, I'd recommend Angela's Ashes and 'Tis, bothe by Frank McCourt. They're really good books, but as I said, they're not sci-fi/fantasy. Autobiography-type book, but extremely interesting.

Anything by Diane Duane, Diana Wynne Jones, Phillip Pullman, Eoin Colfer, Roald Dahl, Herbie Brennan, Jonathan Stroud, Hilari Bell, Gregory Maguire... And of course, Joanne Rowling (J.K. Rowling) and J.R.R. Tolkien. =)

Science Fiction:

I'm not a huge fan of Sci Fi, but I worship Douglas Adams. =P

White Noise by DonDelillo. Not fantasy but a good book

The Song of Ice and Fire series By George R. R. Martin. Well, it depends. If your nine, or even 11, don't read them. Unless You are over 12(and in the case between 12 and 14, very mature) don't read. Them. If not, then read for lords sake! Wonderful books, my favorite, even though I barely fit my age ideas myself.
They should keep you busy for a while.

Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches trilogie Sp or if you like well written fiction about everyday lives mostly women any thing by Maeve Binchey Light a Penny Candle is my favorite. Also Cane River is a very good read.

Then I reccomend Horsefeathers if the Religious content isn't offencive.
