I've heard subbed Pokemon is a lot better. It's a lot less kiddish is what I was told.

Most definately subbed, I have found every single anime that I watched in dubbed to be unsatisfactory, especially Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop. :x

When I first watch a series, I'll watch in subs. I usually don't watch episodes dubbed unless I've seen it subbed. At night I often rewatch episodes, and in that case I'll sometimes watch it dubbed since I'm too lazy at night to read subtitles.

There's one thing I have to say about dubs. Sometimes I come across a lines that are so weird I have to love them. True, they could be saying the exact same thing in Japanese and the subtitles are different, but there's something about hearing it in a language you understand and know exactly what they're saying. Most of the time it seems like they're saying similiar things to the subtitles, but there are just some lines that are odd and make me wonder who put that in.

To this day I have not seen Hellsing and Trigun subbed, but I don't feel I'm missing anything, because the Hellsing dub was excellent and the Trigun one was very good.

I'm also quite fond of the dub of FLCL, and Azumanga Daioh's pretty good dubbed too.

But usually I prefer to watch subbed.

Subbed; dubbed unless it's shown on TV. I like listening to the original voices  Plus I can catch some nice phrases that way XD

Subbed if I buy it. I love how japanese sounds, and I can learn a bit of japanese from it ^_^ No choice but to watch dubbed on TV :P

Subs for the most part, however, I do watch the dubs on occasion ( especially if I'm quite fond of the dub cast)

Subs, because my Japanese is almost-non-existant. I don't have anything against dubbed versions either, although they cut stuff (on the whole it's not bad).

You'd be surprised how many companies don't cut scenes in the English dubs. Some shows are just better in Japanese, though.

I've seen my share of dubbed and they seemed alright. But the most recent ones I've seen, like Inu Yasha and Fruits Basket, I prefer subbed. The japanese voices sound alot better, even though I can't understand them lol I've seen the dubbed version of Inu Yasha and just don't like it at all. It all really depends on what I see first.

I spend a lot of time on the computer just listening to the TV so having dubbed versions is useful. If I actually have time to sit down and watch something I prefer subbed because everytime I watch TV, English or otherwise, I have the close-captioned on, so it's not a big change for me.

I don't watch dubs. I don't understand japanese. thats leaves subs. ;)

Except for...the epileptic seizure Porygon episode one and one other involving James in a swimsuit competition, I've heard they're practically the same.
