The books were originally written as Christian literature. (I read one theory that they were an attempt to deliver the message of God to the heathens by coating it in magic.)

As far as deviations go, Peter and Susan weren't originally in anything after The Horse and His Boy (which is the best of the books in my opinion), until The Last Battle.

Apparently script pages from the next one leaked. Not a fan of this:

Rumour is Caspian and Lucy have a "moment". WHAT.

Overall I liked the movie, though.

And hopefully a rumour is what it shall remain!
Because THAT would seriously not go well with Disney and all the little kiddies.

Eugh. As much as I like Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian, I can't help but think that they are just slaughtering the books. Yeh the movie is a movie, but come on. Try and at least incorporate more of what people originally fell in love with!

*Looks at some Disney films*

Lesse, Nazi symbolism in The Lion King (Not to mention Atleast Two counts of brutal murder that I can think of), mass murder in the Incredibles, I don't even know where to begin with Pirates...
