This year's festival will begin on April 5th and end on April 21st. Day 1 of the event will actually be a day and a half, running through April 6th.

To get started, you'll need to find Topsi (after going to the Festival of Neggs page). He's at the Rainbow Fountain.
Clues
Day 1: Prepare for the negg hunt, this year is sure to be grand! Your first negg can be found at the most exclusive pool in all the land!
Day 2: For more neggs listen to this clue, find a hobby that will hook you!
Day 3: You are off to a good start! Now look for a sundae cart!
Day 4: If a negg hunter is what you wish to be, look for a place where patience is key!
Day 5: Seeking another negg stash? Perhaps you ought to take out the trash...
Day 6: Head to the desert and put on your boots, keep an eye out for spinning fruits.
Day 7: Someone has a sharp eye for neggs! Be on the look out for a buccaneer with three legs!
Day 8: You've find so many neggs, and all on your own! Now search for a colossal Techo made of stone...
Day 9: Take a moment to think of what you have worn, then find the store run by a Neopet with one horn.
Day 10: Oh searching for neggs is such a joy! Now keep an eye out for an abandoned toy...
Day 11: What's that, do you smell something tasty? Follow your nose to the place of pastry...
Day 12: You are almost there, but your negg basket is not quite full! So seek out the lever that one should never pull...
Day 13: So close now, just hold it together... Where can you find a petpet with paper for feathers?
Day 14: The Creator will reward me greatly, he will see my devotion. Oh and look for something that spins in a circular motion!
Day 15: The Space Faerie thinks she has won, but Sloth is always lurking... For your last negg, find the business that excels at woodworking!
Drat! I can't believe you found me all 10 times! Guess I still have plenty more to learn about hide and seek... Well, congratulations! I'll make sure you get an extra special prize at the end of the festival!
NC Neggs:
Dip & Dye Neggs This year, you don't get a separate NC negg to do something to; they're all available automatically. (I suspect this is to keep people from having to worry about breaking rules on side accounts). There are three different neggs you can can buy dye kits for: Pastel, Bright, and Dark. You can buy the kits individually for 650NC, or all three for 1500NC (savings of 450NC). Kits will be available until April 30th. Alternatively, you can buy a single dye kit that will allow you to get a single prize from your chosen negg. (I believe you're able to pick which item, just not the bonus item.) ETA: Managed to shopwiz search all the items to get their image urls. Forgot to grab the negg images that I was offered before picking and choosing my negg...so...will update those once I get a chance. Whew. I think I have everything else updated at this point?
While I do enjoy the lovely conversations with Kari, Topsi, and Doctor Neggistential (although Topsi looks a bit deranged to me), I am not going to attempt to put them all in this post. I am glad that you can go back and "rewatch" them from the quest log tab, or just read the text there after you've been through it once.

It's not working for me. I'm on my phone. If you're going to kill the site to go mobile, at least frigging go mobile .
I don't know where I'm failing. I clicked through Kari's dialogue (several times), and it just kind of ends. So I went to both the Rainbow Pool and Rainbow Fountain (not sure which you meant, P, since you wrote one and linked the other, but no Topsi. And nothing at the Magma Pool, either.
I'm already in bed, and your post says day 1 continues tomorrow, so I'll take them at their word I guess. GGoodnight

Hmm. Chalkboard, wild, or rippling... Missed opportunity for rippling's top - that could have been a very cool wearable. But it's obviously wild for the book.

Oops sorry. I did say it's been a long day. Fixed. The link should've been right, though, because I copied it in from where I found Topsi. But yes, Topsi's hiding in the image and you have to click on it. Glad you were able to get it to work in the end!
And yeah, I think it's kinda a mini-plot-ish thing this time. I'm not counting on much from it, but it's still nice to have something slightly different, and the more involved dialogue is welcome.
Since tomorrow is supposed to be an extension of day 1, I don't know if we'll be able to hunt for Topsi again tomorrow or not. Also, there might be 16 days instead of the 15 I have prepped. In fact, I'm fairly certain there will be, but I'll fix that tomorrow. Too tired to edit again tonight.

Woot! New Neggfest. Bigger Woot - I did not see this until Tuesday (around 12:30). Hopefully, the 1-1/2 days holds for day 1...
Even on the PC, Firefox was struggling, continually telling me that a script was slowing things down.
Maybe it is from loading Topsi popping in/out from the left and right sides of the screen. Clicking on him did nothing...

ETA: Festival of Neggs theme has been moved to Beta. It's actually quite pleasant and not too bad on the eyes. I've switched from Constellations to it for now.

Psst, Blue, Topsi will be at all the locations all the days. You just have to find him at ten different locations over the course of the event. So going down the list on JN's page is a great way to keep track...

ETA: The new negg theme has a just-for-fun negg (and Pteri egg) hunt on the welcome page (where you see all your pets). I stopped at 150, but it was a fun little Easter egg to have in the theme!
