...Heh. I had a phone glitch today, and got this instead of a trip through the caverns

You enter a small chamber and gasp at the beautiful stalagmites... or are they stalactites? You can't seem to recall. You spend so much time trying to remember that you barely have time to escape the cave before your torch burns out.

Got some battling done. BLP got in a ton (especially for him). Now I just have to hope that my next-door neighbors don't burn our house down with fireworks tonight. Here's hoping...

ETA: Thankfully, despite the people next door shooting off big fireworks in their backyard (and over our house) AGAIN, there were no accidents. The others that shot off big ones in our neighborhood at least had the sense to do it in the middle of the street, which is WAY farther away from houses than what my neighbors were doing (our backyards are not that big). I did get in decent amount of battling before they started, though.

I enjoy fireworks. I really do. But not when they're not done safely, and are putting people at risk. I've been jumpy and tense all evening. One thing I miss about where I grew up - fireworks were completely forbidden without permits/licenses, etc, and it was actually enforced (whereas here, even on days that it's "not legal" they don't enforce). Sigh.
