Aaaand because I'm brilliant I started reading a book after kids were in bed and then couldn't stop until I'd finished it...at 2am. Sigh. I really need to get more sleep.

On a different note, Mr. P and I finally cracked and installed Palemoon and got flash working again. Only using it for Neo, but they're just going too slow in converting games. Miss me my Meerca Chase. Also, wanted to let BLP do the Altador plot, and let them all read the plots (namely Faeries Ruin) that Jellyneo hasn't converted yet.

Any idea how Palemoon compares to Waterfox? I started using Waterfox and the "latest-oldest" non-timebomb flash version just for the Neopets games. The new Whack-A-Kass stinks compared to the OG flash version. For what it might be worth, having a neo-only browser is why I have held onto Opera 12 for so very long...

I'm not sure how Palemoon and Waterfox compare. Also using the latest-oldest non-timebomb flash with it. Totally agree on Whack-A-Kass, although you can actually manage to have Kass fly back and hit the tree on the new one (not sure if that's possible on the old one, but...), which my kiddos think is hilarious.
But still, it's been wonderful to be able to actually play the games again. And, you know, not just blindly guess at the Lunar Temple every day. And play Expellibox (though it's super slow to load/run compared to everything else - probably because of the HTML5 pet display in the top left that I can't clear items off of). Kiddos read through TFR (out loud, for the youngest's sake) and I'd forgotten just exactly how awesome it was. I mean, I remembered it was awesome, but not the full extent of it. Sigh...to have a plot like that again...or LDP...pipe dreams, I think.

Not sure on flash W-A-K if a "-9" wind can hit the tree... I usually drop the kass over and over until I get in the +7 or +9 range, then wait for the +9... I do not have the patience to wait for -X to get back to +9. Just played it a few on Waterfox (works great), but to find that I am really out of practice.

I think the non-flash version has more of a tendency to go to the high negatives than the original. Drives me crazy.
