Thanks guys. It has been a generally crummy week. I think I'll wait until... Tuesday to resume spinning. Tonight was bartending a quinceanera. Decent crowd, I guess. Not really used to big events, considering there have been next to zero for the last year and a half. Had to chuckle (to myself) - I carded a masked individual that came up to the bar, thinking she looked very young and if she was of age, it was really close to 21... Her 21st birthday was 4 days ago! Good call, Blue

Tomorrow shall be working on the car - at least install the replacement under-engine "splash shield". Of course, it is also much easier to install my new LED headlamps with that removed. Might as well take advantage of it already being off...

Sounds busy, Blue. I was supposed to pet-sit for a new family over the holiday, but one of their dogs bit me during the run-through, so I won't be doing that anymore.

I'm on antibiotics and trying to figure out whether the nausea I'm feeling today is from the antibiotics or the bite. If I have any other symptoms, I'll go seek additional care immediately. But I'm supposed to work from 5:45am-5:00pm tomorrow, plus two different pet-sitting jobs on top of that, so I really hope it's just the antibiotics.

Did not spin today. (Staying on topic )

Upgraded LED headlights installed. New front lower spoiler installed (old one broken in 2 pieces). Lower engine cover installed (old one had a big chunk missing). Noticed that the splash shield/anti-hydroplaning flap thing was missing on the drivers side. Looked without success to find that replacement part. Why? Because the entire wheel well plastic fender liner is missing!?! Amazed I did not see that earlier. Even more amazed that there was zero damage to the CV Boots or anything else when it was unceremoniously ripped off of my car by the couch/futon/whatever. Smurf. Well, that piece is now on order for will-call. Shipping from the "good price place" was over $200. Will-call still $2. Looks like another lunchtime road trip on Tuesday.

Yikes, both of you! Neither of your last days have sounded fun!

We had extra rehearsals yesterday morning (conveniently both Mr. P and I had ours at the same time at the same location as all of our kids had theirs!). Yesterday afternoon, we tackled building a new filing cabinet for our re-do of the computer/craft/now permanent office. I also might've taken some of the reinforcement cardboard pieces and made a chute down the stairs (and around the corner) for the kids to run marbles down for fun. Today, in between church (that we had to be at super early this morning) and choir/church this afternoon, we built the shelf set that matches the filing cabinet and got both into their new places. Now Mr. P can put things back in their new places and clean up the craziness that room has been. I'll admit, I'm looking forward to being able to actually walk in there again.

Kinda starting to worry about having a BLB...running out of days.

Surprisingly, the marble chute is still up. Debating adding either a second one or extending the first one somehow, as the shelf set box also had reinforcement pieces. We'll see what happens. I refuse to attach anything to the walls or railings, but we'll see what I can come up with. Maybe tomorrow. I've been too productive today.
