Yeah, I'll get right on that just because your're collecing. -.-

Oh, that one is priceless. :roflol:

I got one recently that really ticked me off:
Quote:
Ahahahaha, my negg collection is bigger than yours!

So, I wrote back explaining that I don't have a negg collection, but that I resell them for a living.

Then the little snot had the nerve to ask me how much I made and how many nps I had on me.

I replied "Enough."

Then the idiot asked if he could see my bank balance. As if he did not believe me. Sure, bud, I will send my password right on over so you can see for yourself.

Honestly, sometimes I think there should be a series of tests that you have to take before being allowed to open an account. Nothing IQ-related or super hard. Just basic common sense tests.

I completely agree. It's like some people on the site just don't have the faintest clue of what's socially acceptable. Really makes you wonder how they interact in their offline communities. o_O

Do you play neopets? If not at least let somebody have your account! I just thought that cause you have stealth on last spotted! Please write back! If you dont want to play neopets anymore let me have your account or tom_bresco or jimmorris they are nice!

This is one in my inbox this morning. Headscratcher this one.
a.) Why wouldn't I be playing anymore just because I'm stealth?
b.) Why would I give my account to people you think are nice?

You forgot c.) Why would they expect an answer via Neomail from a (supposedly) dead account?

A lot of times I get Neomail about Neoquest, I generally point them towards the IDNQ, but that's never stopped them from replying with the "What level were you at for the Sand Grundo?". This seems to happen to a lot of people who've finished insane though.

My account doesn't have much to make it look valuable, but for some reason people persist to send me things that I wont touch with a fourty foot clown corpse. About eight months ago a guy sent me a considerable amount of identical items all worth upwards of 30k. I deleted them. It would of helped the balance, but I wasn't about to let myself get iced.

I rarely accept neomails from people I don't know now. And items, even if it's just a codestone or something cheap are sent right back.

Back in the days when I actually restocked my shop, I had some random girl Neomail me. It went something like this:

Her: Hi.
Me: Hello.
Her: Cooool, you rplied! Do U wanna b in my gld?
Me: What's your guild, and why should I join? (I thought I'd give her a chance to make a sale)
Her: I dunno, cuz u gots lots of stuf
Me: How does that pertain to me joining the guild?
Her: Maybe u cn hlp me with the giveaways
Me: No thanks, good luck though.
Her: You're mean!

Then she barraged me with several "You're mean" neomails... needless to say, it was promptly reported.

What gets me is that these people usually can't spell worth dung. It's a great way to get someone to do something... you know, ommiting every other vowel o_O

That reminds of the time I was barraged with neomails consisting of nothing but "YOUR EVIL!" They even managed to fill up the character limit in each one. After the second I replied, "What about my evil? Have you seen it? Where's it gone?" He sent about 3 more before I was able to block him.

:roflol:

People who send you neomails like "you're mean" or what makes it better "ur mean" when you don't give them things just amuse me. I don't even report these people. And I prefer to keep those neomails in my inbox.
Of course it gets "overpopulated" eventually, so sadly I have to part with them sooner or later. :(

This just happened to me a few hours ago.

I was innocently putting things up for trade when I get this neomail:

Hey are you the person who is duplication things? If you are I won't tell.

Then I said:
No, what gave you the impression that I did it?

Then he said:
Well by the looks for your account you really look like someone who would duplicate things.

:x I was so angry I wanted to give him a piece of my mind but then I just deleted it.

I'm sorry Michelle, that whole situation is out of control. *hugs*

Everyone trying to sell things on the BDC chat that isn't "well-established" is being accused. Some people can be so mean. :(

Thanks Mindy. :)

The weirder thing was that the things I were putting up for trade were worth no less than 5k.

"You really look like someone who would duplicate things"????? Just what the heck does such a person look like? Oh, I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from sending a nasty comment back.

So, according to this fool, anyone who has been playing for more than a few months who either restocks, resells, or has expensive things obviously must be a duper. The majority of the people who play Neopets fit that description.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I just had to share this neomail...

Quote:
hello?!!!!! I am gonna report you! Unless you do one thing, give me your pw! If I report you, all your nps will go to the money tree if u wouldnt waant that to happen would u?! And if you give me ur pw, i wont report u, i will simply just earn u nps, make a good choice, dont make me report u.

I have never gotten a random neomail before, let alone a scam one...

First off I would like to know what she thinks she would report me for, and why she would think I would fall for it, it's not like I have a new account.

I decided to have a little fun and asked her what she would report me for, haven't gotten a response yet.

This is a great idea, I have only had a few strange nmails but they have been doozies.

I have screenied 2 of them:

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/p ... /yeah2.jpg

The 2nd one has me confused, she asks for it, but then says she will give me all her items and nps. The book is only worth about 7,000np.

Posting on a thread 5 months after it was last posted on is ressurection. In this case you probably could have started a new thread about it considering the length of time between posts.
