Well, I signed up for Thieves, because that's what Mr. P said he wanted to do this time. And...since we both remembered, I figured we'd be on the same team. Doesn't have the best boons, but...<shrugs> it'll do for now. I won't be offended if y'all choose a different team, I'm just happy I remembered to sign up this week! Assuming, of course, that Jose doesn't decide to change course, and make me frustrated that we just put the detachable swing set pieces back on.

Bummer, Siniri. I almost forgot to get my battles in, it's been so long since I've actually been able to participate. Almost wish I'd taken Awakened, with a shot at the FQ boon with the upcoming event, but...too late for that.

Sorry guys, Brutes won! I actually went with Brutes, so I now have my last avatar/theme for the Obelisk.

I just had to keep taking them until they won.

Congrats, Daze! I am glad you finally earned the Brutes Theme.
I failed as well, but with no excuse whatsoever. I simply did not battle this time because my week got away from me. Ah well, first non-super-crazy weekend in a while. It was nice, but I accomplished very little.

I chose the Right Round Round Round boon as I need 3 more wheel avis. Paid off after only 3 attempts!!! I just got the WoE avi.

Only need WoK and WoEx (although I haven't tried for that one, being so expensive).

Congrats, Daze! I have another friend who finally got that site theme, too. I'm honestly a little grateful I didn't miss out on the FQ boon during the faerie festival; I would have been really kicking myself.

I only lost power for forty hours thanks to Irma, which wasn't terrible. My house and car were fine. Things are getting back to normal for most of the area - they fixed the last few traffic lights (at least along my usual routes) yesterday, a week after the storm hit us. Obviously the people with damage to their homes, businesses, or schools have a longer recovery, and there were eight deaths in our state (three in the metro area), which their families will always grieve. Obviously nothing compared to what Florida and the Caribbean islands faced - and now there's another Category Five wreaking havoc. Prayers for all affected.
