Umm...how can you be hacked in AIM...The closest I have been to that was when I entered a chatroom with strange AIM names like sdjfka802anfdja38s was I being hacked or what was that. There were about 15 of sn's like that... uhoz...

i think it's kinda right from TNT to block im names...u never know who can try to scam u...well lot of people can't,especially newbies o_O

There should be less preventing of scams by removing our abilities to say things and more concentration on making sure that someone can't just type in a username and TNT gives them a password again.

Hmmm.. I'm on AIM, which I don't use for much of anything, since I don't use AIM that much, but I list it for here, since people here can spell and I see loads of intelligent posts! I'd think that they did it to protect the children, but if their parents aren't keeping up with things, then that's not really a protection, now is it?

They haven't been allowing it for a while. I guess they just don't like off-site chats.

well, alot of hackers operate thru ims... so i guess we cant fault TNT on that... ")

i agree with the im banns mainly because of preditors. they can easily wrangle the information they need on ims. and i agree parents should be more on the ball about it, sadly they aren't so you know who's gonna get the blame if another little girl gets kidnapped. neopets will. no parent is going to admit to the world that they are negligent. (sp)
