The number of times you can play a flash game has increased from 3 to 5, at least for today? Is this something that's been going on for a while that I totally missed?

Isn't it birthday week this week for neopets?

That increases game plays on all games from 3 to 5 for the course of the week.

Except Neopets Birthday is in the second week of November -- and we'd have the birthday sidebar, and the events are usually in the news.

It was like that all day on Sunday February 1st 2009 from Midnight NST until 11:59:59pm NST.

Some people on the Game neoboard thought it was a glitch by TNT and that users would get frozen for sending their scores 5 times. Others thought TNT allowed users to send that amount because of the Super Bowl.

The weird thing though is there has been no news made by TNT on the New Features page about why the plays were 5 instead of 3 for February 1st.

EDIT: I have checked the news again and on the New Features page it now says:

Five Score February is here! In the month of February on Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will be able to send 5 scores when you play games.
