I just wanted to know how you made the clear border thingy under the actual border, as seen here (I use photoshop BTW). Thanks!

To achieve that, I'd use the overlay blending mode.
On a separate layer (from the actual outside border), draw your one-pixel white border. Then set the blending mode of that layer to overlay.
