 Post subject: Blending in PSP

Can anyone tell me, or point me in the right direction of some tutorials telling me, how to blend some images together in PSP? (i'm using PSP 9 at the mo)

I have 7 but you should more than likely be able to do this in 9.

Create a new blank image the size that you want the blend to be.
Then take the first image and paste it as a new layer onto the blank image.
Next, take the second image and paste it as a new layer, overlapping the first image you pasted.
Then use the selection tool and make a selection on the overlapping parts of the images.
Go to Selections > Modify > Feather or Ctrl + H and feather the selection about 30-60
Then press the Delete button on your keyboard until you get the desired effect

Hope it worked ^_^ It might take some practice

Oh yea, don't forget to also have brushes. They can add a little extra "umph" to your image.

For the quuotations... :P

If you got the ownable version of PSP 9 (meaning you bought it), you can find instructions on page 153 of your user guide. :)

i dont, i'm just running the trial at the moment. would love to buy it, but it's too expensive :(
