"Fill" not an option in Adobe Photoshop CS

Sat Oct 30, 2004 1:26 am

I've downloaded the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CS, but when I draw a picture with it I end up having to colour it in MS Paint because I can't find the Fill option on the toolbar. It has the Draw (Brush) option, the Erase option...almost everything other than the Fill option. It's a very essential thing to have in an art program, especially one like Adobe Photoshop, but why isn't it there?

It does have the Fill tool. You see the Gradient tool button, under the History Brush which is under the normal Brush? Hold that button down and select Fill instead.

It's a matter of checking out all the buttons with arrows in the bottom right corner. ;P

Or you could go select the area you want filled, then go to Edit >> Fill.

Or... shift-F5 brings up the fill menu. (=
