I've been trying to figure out how to do text with a consistent border (without having to trace it in mspaint or whatever). You know, like white text with a plain black border?
I have no idea how to do it. I use PSP 7.
Any advice/guides?

I usually use
http://www.good-tutorials.com/ for reference.
You can use the blend mode of "stroke" and fiddle with that for a border and change the "fill" of your text to 0% (or white). I hope that helps...

it's really easy in psp.
you make the text you want, then select it, so either make the text as a selection to begin with or if you make it as a vector, copy it and paste it as a new selection (ctrl+shift+e). then go to selections, modify, expand, then choose how much you want it expanded by. i usually do this in a different file to the one i want the text in, that has a background the colour of the outline i want, then once you ahve your selection copy merged (ctrl+shift+c) and paste into where you want it, and you'll have text with an outline!
i hope that makes sence, if it doesnt, i can try explaining it better.
