How do you save your *.gif files? Do you go File > Save, or File > Save for Web ? File > Save uses default settings that can often screw up *.gif and *.jpg images, so I'd recommend Save for Web instead. Other than that, I really don't know...Jasujo wrote:In my Photoshop file, it says width 100 pixels, but when I save it as a .gif it cuts the sides. O.o I have no idea why this is happening. Does anyone have any idea and advice on how to fix it?
Not much you can do about that. *.png files support partial transparency (for soft edges like that), but Internet Explorer doesn't support it, so it ends up looking funny. Eventually I think it will, though. *.png transparency is very similar to *.gif transparency, so it should be easy for you to resave the files if you want to do that.Jasujo wrote:It also has an annoying white edge that I've noticed on graphics if I use a blend technique. This image has emboss which creates the white edge. Does anyone know how to fix this?
