I'm currently animating an AIM Icon for one of my friends, because she doesn't have an animator (ter? Anyways...).

The one we want is about 15k in filesize, but the limit is 7.5k. Is there anyway to reduce the file size without horribly mutilating the Icon? I'm using Jasc Animation Shop if it helps any.

Thanks for the help. :)

The only way I know how is to compress the gif file. I perfer to use the optimization wizard (under file). Sometimes they turn out fine, sometimes they get those nasty colors and dots. Since a AIM icon is relatively small image wise you may be fine. Worth a shot.

Yep! Thank you so much, it worked. Now she can have it as her icon! ^_^ It's a good thing she did it in black and white, though. xD

Thanks again.
