I'm obsessed with this game. So obsessed that I've been downloading custom stuff from not only the official exchange, but also from Simtropolis, the largest SC4 fan site.

I spent sooo much time today creating a custom airport. xD

Very good game, agreed.. I built up a massive region before I eventually became bored of it. Unlike previous games, the ability for sims to get from point A to point B is so important in this game. If your city doesn't have sufficient transit in place (both in the form of roads, buses, subways) the economy stalls in a big way. I found the most successful method of playing the game was to pre-plan the transit infrastructure of a city as you lay the highways and roads... And to make sure you use several cross connecting highways thru the largest cities, then use avenues to cut into the city, and roads only for the low or medium residential or industrial areas... Otherwise traffic just backs up too harshly. In the high residential areas (which inevitably fill with skyrises) the only way to get employees mobile is to build a parking garage next to every subway/bus depot...

Anyway.. fun game, and as you can probably tell by now I was way too involved with it before I quit playing!
