I only have the Chamber of Secrets game and I beat it in one night completely. I don't know, the Harry Potter games have a lot of potential but they just generally don't work. GoF better be good, I'll rent it, but I refuse to buy it.

I played a bit of PoA and thought it was alright. Boring at some parts. GoF I expect will be much more exciting.

i dont see me liking goblet of fire.
one more flipping jump-puzzle and i will be going mad :x
but the bits where i wasnt reduced to infuriating jump puzzles, and stupid "keep moving and shooting" boss battles, they werent half bad...
yeah, they did kinda suck.
still, Quidditch world cup was oddly rather fun despite the ease.

I had the first game on the GBC, and I reckon it was the best HP game on any system.

Totally.

They've got so much potential. The entire Harry Potter franchise does. But they just keep messing it up. Only the books are good. The movies alright, the games downright unoriginal/easy.

Oh definetley. Seems most of the games are composed of lots of little flying platforms that you must jump onto. I remember this one part of CoS where you had to jump around the library using the books at platforms....gosh, that was impossible.
If anything, my favorite part about the games is just running around the castle like a complete spaz. :P

Should be better than the others, with the Tri-Wizard Tournament, I can't wait to do the Tasks. Running around the castle trying to find secret rooms rules too.

who else is betting that the last event (IE: the maze) is going to be the most fiendishly annoying platform puzzle in recent memory?

Oh my god, I remember that level. I nearly threw my PC across the room. Filch would scare the crap out of me whenever I got caught.
