Oh, selling those don't matter. Eventually you'll get an item from the mark that will give you something that seems a bit unusual (Rainbow Egg or [insert creature here] skin. You'll also get something called Arcana eventually. You'll want to keep those too.

To use the spells and such that you have unlocked, you have to go to one of the Magick Shops and see if it's in stock. You buy it there for whatever amount and then you can use it with everyone (so long as the license allows them too.) Same with Weapons and Technicks (though I've found a majority of the technicks useless. x_x)

(also, you'll get crystals/shards/whatever quite often, and while they may sound important, they aren't. =P)

Loot, loot, loot, mostly. Sometimes you can find weapons you don't need, but once you go out and level for an hour or so, you'll come back with a lot of money to spend (albeit it will likely disappear in a single shop visit).

Ugh, haven't played in about two weeks now, I need to get back onto that.

im currently at the Hennes Mines, the place after the rabbit people's woods, and where there are a lot of bats. my characters are around lvl 16-17, am i below average? because i was just fighting the bats in the tunnel, and i got killed really quickly.

The only loots that you have to worry about selling are the ones you get from marks and quests like that (and if they sound rare and you aren't sure), though I assume at that point in the game you probably haven't done *too* many marks (I myself haven't done many either, actually). Occasionally, I think you *may* get some from bosses, but I'm not sure.

Well, the marks are what you go into the taverns for. The ones that require you to go to the bulletin, talk to the person that posted the bulletin and then go out and kill the creature for them (they're generally harder than heck unless you over-level).

It's also the creatures that the clan in Dalmasca (I think it is?) has you kill. They're always "special" and you won't fight them unless you accept the requests from the taverns.

OH MAN. Is that the one that casts Disablega on your party? x_x I think I did some mindless leveling to get past him. Maybe a level or two may be needed. Also, make sure that you have EVERYONE (if you have back-up characters, I forget) and make sure they have good weapons. I can't really remember how I beat it, I know that Quickenings helped quite a bit (if you have those for everyone), but they didn't do *that* much damage. You'll want 2-3 melee people and 1 long-range, if you're lucky. You'll also want to be the long-range character and run FAR away from the Elder Dragon when it casts Disablega, so that you don't have to run around doing nothing.)

Also, do you have Cure/Cura in all of your characters for about 40-50%?

(that is, if I'm thinking of the right boss, it was pretty annoying)

i lvled up some more, currently around lvl 25, is it too low?
and i beat it
but i was pretty lucky because he casted disablega 3 times, but only hit 2/4 of my characters everytime.

yeah i had to, because i used decoy on one of my characters, and i just healed her like crazy.

i only have 3 good weapons, with attack power of ranging from 40~60, and i just switch weapons each time a character comes on or goes off, so i would always have the 3 best weapons regardless of what characters im using.

and one more question...is there another way to gain your MP except lvl-ing up?

another questions...sorry,... for being so asky
how do you fully use the quickings? i saw this fran quickining video on youtube, and there was this part where you have to press circle, and she does this crazy move, and all my quickinings are not as fancy...

About MP. The only way to gain MP is through leveling and unlocking Quickenings (to be more specific, if you have unlocked every quickening for a character, they will have triple the MP as opposed to only having one quickening and or none at all (every quickening past the first adds another bar onto your MP meter)

As far as quickenings go, you want to have 3 people with all three of their quickenings before you even want to use them. Once you get that, there's obviously the level 1, 2, and 3 quickening. 1 will drain one MP bar, 2 will drain 2, and 3 will drain all of it. Obviously, 3 is the strongest and 1 is the weakest. I don't know the specifics, but it's probably better to start with a level 1 or 2 quickening in case your roll gets messed up, otherwise you'll be doing a VERY small amount of damage and won't have any MP to heal or support yourself in case you haven't finished a strong enemy. They say Quickenings make the game WAY too easy, but believe me, even with them, there are some pretty difficult parts in the game.

At the bottom of your screen, during the first quickening you use, you will see a timer bar, and your three party members and their quickening names next to their name. It will either be lit up or darkened (hopefully lit up). Basically what you do it pick on of the lit up quickenings and wait for the quickening to start, when the next one starts, once again you see the names and quickening on the bottom of the screen and you can choose one. You will eventually be able to link these together (my highest is a 17 chain. Not that great, but it's powerful).

About the rolling I mentioned earlier. if you see that there are no whitened quickenings lit up, you will have to press R1/R2 (it's one of them, I just forget), and it will reroll. You may or may not get a whitened quickening this time. Just reroll until you get one (or run out of time).

As a side note, the time gets shorter and shorter the more you chain up. Eventuallly you'll get to the point where you don't have time to reroll, let alone even hesitate to push the designated button as soon as you possible can.

I don't mind answering questions, so long that I have the knowledge to answer them. =P

Every time I get to a new town (one that has new weapons), I loot until I get a new weapons for everyone [that needs it], and if I have enough, armor too (though rarely, I'm rather behind on armor). It takes a bit of time, but is definitely worth it in the long run.

For a melee character, if you can get axes yet, they're VERY good weapons. I have Basch equipped with one and about 40% of the time he does about 1600 damage (while everyone else averages at about 700 and are a couple of levels higher than he is.

As for unlocking weapons, are you talking about the really rare weapons or the ones you get form selling things at the bazaar? I assume the rares are the strongest, and the things you get at the bazaar range from items to armor and weapons.
