Ooh, the molecular level is news to me. Though I'm disappointed that I'll be waiting another year, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Spore is an interesting idea for a game but it's several delays are started to cast doubt in me. I don't think it'll be released anytime soon and if it is, it definitely won't be bug-free. (Which is normal for PC games...)

I'm just anxious to find out if they plan on releasing on the Mac Platform. If not, man, will I be annoyed.

But with computers, you can send patches to fix it easier than the PS2 or other systems.

Yes but I think patching isn't something that every PC company runs out to do. I believe it's been delayed so many times because of cross-platform issues. Unlike PC, you can't just release half a game on the Xbox unless it heavily relies on online gameplay which spore does not.

Actually, one of the things that's usually promoted about the latest generation of consoles is that they can send patches and updates to you via an internet connection, online or not.

Yes I know that, but my point is that Spore doesn't heavily rely on the internet in order for you to play it. Those are don't connect to the internet can't be left high and dry.
