apparenly formally revealed at E3 this year, (as opposed to "were doing b&w2 dont tell no one)
new miracles been revealed ("in the first game you didnt feel like a god, you were like the page boy who bought the water, now its time to REALLY act like one")
want earthqaukes?
sure.
volcanoes, typhoons?
okay.
want to expung all life from the island, in the hope that it kills your opponent before you?
goooood

the ability to draft villagers (and children...) into a vast army to acompany your creature('s?) and equip them with weapons (though probably NOT individually) to build entire citys, complete with walls and siege weapons.
an ACTUAL story (five civilisations, two were allies but when they broke up the aztecs went to war against the world, youre the god of the decimated greeks, trying to build an alliance to fight them)
and hey, youre creature can actually learn spells, AND then use them to your advantage (frankly im getting annoyed with my tiger who keeps fire balling the village around his temple  )
and the miracles can be used with differant effects (remember the fireball? you can squeeze it to make a lava river  or put it onto a siege catapult, oh and miracles interact, though this hasnt been expanded upon yet)

Location: Outside on your boulevarde scaring small children. Um... or in Illinois.
I read in a couple of magazines that its supposed to come out in either June or July (these were from a couple months backs), I haven't seen it in any stores yet... I just hope that this one works well with Windows XP, because the last one hates it and my computer. I get to the same spot, the games screws up and then when I go back into it, the laoding screen doesn't pop up so I have to go through the tutorial just to load... then my data got wiped out... -.-; *prays for a Windows XP-safe Christmas*

I found the system requirements for it but the line said subject to change.
Minimum Specification:
Windows 98/ME/2000/XP,
450mhz processor, 128mb RAM,
800mb Hard Drive Space,
CD or DVD 4x speed drive,
16mb Graphics Card PCI/AGP,
Direct3D 3D accelerator,
Direct X 8, Keyboard & Mouse.

When I looked for the release date, it said 2005 so somewhere during that year we'll see it ._.
