S2 isn't out yet, it's due (I think) for the Fall.
There are a bunch of previews and such that give out things like the fact that you will see the Sims being pregnant (http://www.sims2.com)

What I've heard of Sims Online is pretty amusing - with it being a hot bed of virtual crime with Mafiaso type rings and other undesirables which probably shouldn't be mentioned on a forum like this.
